While visiting Michigan Adventure we chose this hotel since I have had pretty good luck wth Best Western hotels. Overall, the hotel is a good choice since there are not many hotels in the area. The indoor pool and spa was nice- the area clean and the pool large enough to accomodate lots of kids. The service is great- very... more

First I should say that this is one of the nicest looking hotels in Whitehill. We stayed overnight while visiting Michigan Adventure. The hotel was clean but a bit over priced for what you get. During our stay someone hit the smoke alarm and we had to be evacuated for a while. There were people running up and down the... more

We have had to make a number of trips to the Whitehall/Montague region this spring and summer, and the Best Western Whitehall seems the best in the area. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway, the reservation process easy, and the hotel staff helpful and accomodating. We have not used the pool, but the rooms have been clean and... more

For the third time in recent weeks, the Whitehall Best Western experienced problems with the chlorination release system at the pool. This malfunction caused a 3 hour evacuation of the entire hotel at 10 PM. Not sure about anyone else, but I do not book a room with the hopes of being rousted out and spending several late night hours... more

If you are looking for a place to rest after a day at Michigan Adventure then this is the hotel for you. The hotel is at most a ten minute drive from the park. This hotel was built in late 2000. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, and spacious. We even had plenty of room for our air mattress.... more

This is a very nice hotel. One minor problem - their computer had us coming in the following day even though my reservation and their paper copy had the correct day. They had to make a quick switch but they were able to accomodate even though they were pretty booked. We had to wait 15 minutes for the room because... more

This is a nice Hotel to stay at if you have small children. My husband and I with our two young boys stayed there for a little 'weekend getaway'. The rooms were nice and very clean. The location is very nice and safe. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub (on a cool Oct. eve).... more

It was a very nice hotel in a very nice location. Even though it was near the freeway, we couldn't hear the cars and trucks because it was blocked by a row of trees. the rooms were comfortable, (not enough pillows) bring your own. The pool area was nice and so was the whirlpool. Did not hear noise from the... more

Excellent location, convenient to Muskegon & sand dune rides on Lake Michigan. Very friendly front desk staff, also very patient, we were traveling with a family from Germany who required alot of translation time, not a problem. Nice size rooms. Clean pool area. Very tidy breakfast area also. Had a couple large ants in our room, front desk was informed... more
