This was a fishing/business trip for my husband. He happened upon this inn when he decided to stay in Whitehall at the last minute. It was very clean. The staff was sooo gracious and friendly. We will be back.

Room was large, had what we needed & just a short walk from Pekadills for lunch & Harbor View for dinner. Owners are accomodating & easy going. Very clean & neat: pretty lawn & flowers in a quiet neighborhood.

Just loved this hotel for its "family" atmosphere! Gwyn and her family make you feel like one of the family. The room was comfortable and very clean. The "gathering room" was also comfortable with a TV -- couch etc. a great place to hang out. This is where breakfast is served which was a Continental breakfast and very good. We... More

My family stayed over for one evening when we went to Michigan Adventure. It is located down near the water in town in a peaceful area good for sleeping and relaxation. Gwyn and her family made you feel right at home. We have gluten free individuals in our family and they directed us to a place in town that had... More

Our primary purpose of this stay was to visit Michigan's Adventure, which is a short and easy trip from The Maple Tree Inn. The inn provided a nice basic room, at a fair price. It was very clean and the staff/owners were very friendly. They had a nice breakfast area that provided a decent selection for the adults and children.... More

I stayed at the Maple Tree Inn in early July for three nights and had a very memorable stay. The proprietor Gwyn makes you feel like one of the family. During the summer months, she offers a continental breakfast to get you started. The rooms are very clean and functional. The owners have made a conscious effort to make sure... More

We have stayed at the Maple Tree Inn several times. It is locally owned and operated, and although it is a little older, it was comfortable and fit our needs. It is close to both cities of Montague and Whitehall (within walking or biking distance) and you can see the marina at White Lake from the front yard. The staff... More

We stayed here to attend a friend's wedding at Silver Lake. We met Gwyn when checking in, she was very nice. We had never been to Whitehall and she gave us information on the area. Our room was very clean! We were very much impressed with our stay. The location was very nice, walking distance to White Lake. We will... More

We stayed here for two nights when in the area with plans to go to Michigan's Adventure. It rained the day we planned to go to the park. Gwyn and her son were very helpful with other ideas for my family to do in the inclement weather. Rooms were spotless. Comfortable. We used a rollaway and still had plenty of... More

We stayed here after going to Michigan Adventure, it was only about 10-15 minutes from the park. The rooms were extremely clean and very well maintained. The location was great, you could walk to town or to the marinas where there were restaurants. The price was very reasonable. The check out process was a little confusing, there wasn't anyone at...
