I've lodged at the Lac Vieux Desert Resort the last 3 falls while bird hunting. I can't speak for the casino experience or available food. I did walk the golf course out back a little and it seemed nice. The lobby smells of the smoke from the casino. My smoke free room was smoke free, clean enough but showing its... More

We were looking for a room near Bond Falls. After waiting over 15 minutes for our credit card to be processed, due to an error message?, the manager was finally called. His best suggestion: call our credit card company. When we asked why, as the issue was not either of the 2 credit cards we offered for payment, his oh-so-polite... More

We stayed at the Lac Vieux Desert Resort Casino for two nights. The room was basic. Beds were acceptable, but not something to write home about. The air conditioning worked great, which was important during a hot and humid summer. The resort features a golf course (which we did not use), a casino, small indoor pool, restaurant and gift shop.... More

This was a last stop for us before heading home on a trip to the UP. The room was very dated with hot hall ways and old worn sheets and spreads. It is out in the middle of no where with not much around it. We had driven 275 miles that day and looked forward to a night of relaxing.... More

Stayed here for a wedding in the Northwoods. Being that the casino is adjacent, lots of smoking. Even though I had a non smoking room, you could still smell the smoke. But for the price, would definitely stay here again. Upon checkin was presented $5 for the casino free play. Signed up for the card and got another $5. Free... More

It was fine to stay in for the night. Overall it was clean, but it was obvious the sheets on the bed had been well used as they were yellowing. The casino was bigger than we expected. With the $5 of free play each, that provided enough amusement for us. We did have to play $1 of our own money... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. The maid service was OK the first morning but only made the bed, no clean sheets but straightened the room which we kept clean anyway. The second morning all that was done was the vacuuming, again, the bed wasn't even made, no clean sheets, no towels, shower not cleaned, whirlpool not cleaned, all... More

I come to the watersmeet casino a few times a year from north Dakota. I used to live in Detroit so even though its a different world its still Michigan and makes me feel close to " home". The hotel is very well priced under 100 for a suite with a hot tub and the front desk staff are always... More

The price was great, but there were very few amenities except coffee. WiFi would not work in rooms, you had to go to the lobby. Staff was very uninterested in guests. There was a decent dinner buffet for $10, but nothing special. Seems like just a place to plop down and eat and sleep when not gambling. We went there... More

We love to stay here. Prices are great. Bingo at the casino. Rooms are clean and nice. Easy access to lots of neat things in the western U.P. They have a nice pool area and hot tub. Would recommend it to our friends
