For more than 14 years now we have been going to the Inn at Union Pier. Usually with a sister or a girlfriend. Also have gone alone. Love Bil and Joyce. Snickers their dog was a doll. He is missed now at the Inn. Anytime of the year is wonderful at the Inn. Mary Ann is also a wonderful asset... More

It was our first time at a B&B and would definitely go back. We were there to celebrate our parents anniversary and Bill went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect....from taking pictures of our group, having a special setup for breakfast and reserving the dining room for a speacial dessert. We loved the courtyard with the... More

Stayed at the Inn for Labor day weekend; 3rd summer in a row now. The Inn is a series of buildings around a central courtyard and lawn; each room is decorated individually and all reflect a low-key summer vibe. Not that they are used in the summer but each room is also equipped with a swedish wood-burning fireplace that are... More

For two introverted people, sometimes the idea of a B&B / small talk at breakfast, can be a drain. But, since the Inn at Union Pier is so spread out and has many options for private dining tables, we didn't feel like we were strangers at someone's house. Bill is wonderful - waited up until 11 p.m. for our late... More

We have stayed at the Inn at Union Pier five times now, and the hospitality and beautiful setting never cease to amaze us. Our second floor room (Lakeside) felt complete with a comfortable bed and a wicker love-seat with ottoman. We could easily open a side door to access a private outdoor space on the deck with cozy reclining chairs.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn at Union Pier for just one night, and have vowed to come back for a longer stay. We were able to check-in early, and were greeted with tea, coffee, and freshly baked oatmeal-cranberry cookies! We stayed in the "Spring" room in the "Cottage of the Four Seasons," and had a wonderful night's... More

My husband and I planned a long weekend on the lake for our anniversary and we LOVED The Inn at Union Pier! Our trip was almost a year ago now and we still talk about it as one of the best trips we've been on. All other B&B's have a very high standard to live up to after this place!... More

We loved our time at the Inn at Union Pier. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and at home. Even though there were no vacancies we rarely saw another person. Bill, the owner is so personable. We stayed in the Captains Quarters, very large with a jucuzzi and I think it's the only room with a TV. It's... More

We stayed in one of the Seasons rooms (I think Spring), which are off the main house, and generally more affordable though definitely lack the luxury of the principal residence. We were treated wonderfully, had great breakfasts, and really enjoyed the well-groomed grounds/boardwalks, and delightful hospitality (wine, cookies, etc). The Inn has free bicycles to use, which allowed us a... More

This was our third trip to the Inn at Union Pier, and it has yet to disappoint. Our first time being here in the winter, and found it special as ever. The wood burning stoves in the rooms are very romantic (something I didn't notice in the summer). The Dandelion Room was open, comfortable and airy, if slightly chilly at... More
