My husband and I took a much needed weekend getaway to Goldberry Woods and couldn't be happier with our stay. Upon arrival, we were received with a warm welcome from the owner, Julie, and enjoyed the wine and snacks served by a lovely fire in the wood burning stove. We stayed in the Golden Maple which was large and tastefully... More

I stayed at the B&B this past weekend with my partner and another couple. Julie and Eric were great hosts who gave us several recommendations for things to do and places to eat. They also have plenty of books and games at the B&B if you want to stay in and relax. We particularly enjoyed the evening wine tasting and... More

In the country, off the main road - nice B&B run by young couple who truly enjoy the life. Bedrooms are tastefully done with unique custom made beds - unbelievable! Fireplaces everywhere and plans for lots of garden produce in the future. Breakfast was acceptable but not over the top. Prices are a tad high considering everything and the proximity... More

My wife & I have vacationed in Michigan for a few years including a couple stays in different Bed & Breakfasts around Union Pier. Our stay at Goldberry was our favorite in practically every category. Though other places we'd stayed in felt nice at the time, they now feel 'bare bones' in comparison. Goldberry just felt like they went the... More

Planned a girls trip via the Internet with a stay at Goldberry Woods. This place is awesome! Not only is it wonderfully renovated, with two cottages on the property, but the owners/innkeepers are just wonderful. They were so hospitable and have great taste! Eric was especially helpful in explaining the wine trail, and they both made us feel right at... More

Just returned from our second stay at Goldberry Woods. Stumbled across it online in October and enjoyed our one night stay, but it wasn't long enough! Just spent an entire weekend and it was better than the last. Julie and Eric are the best hosts. Very down to earth and have great taste. Julie made the most amazing ricotta pancakes... More

I was thrilled to see that one of my favorite places was re-opening as Goldberry Woods. I have been coming here for many years and was very distressed to see River's Edge close. I had sadly watched River's Edge deteriorate through the years. However, Eric and Julie have brought this property back to it's original beauty and then some. They... More

The place is the very best the area has to offer from a pricing stand point, cleanliness, and overall accommodations. However for the breakfast we had apple pancakes that were not very good very moushie. No choices at breakfast. It was this or this so you don't eat if you don't like. Flushing mechinism of our toilet broke in our... More

Nancy T: We were so very sorry to read your recent review. We installed three brand new toilets when we purchased the business in early 2012, and they proved temperamental. There was a manufacturing defect, and all three toilets got new "guts" installed in the clean water tank. We always try to speedily remedy any of our guests' concerns. We... More

Had a great time at Goldberry. The rooms are very clean with unique locally crafted beds that look like tree branches! Food is outstanding and the inn keepers are extremely nice. Can't wait to come back in the late spring and do some trout fishing. Local micro distillery, Journeyman, is a must stop and see located in Three Oaks
