We always try to stay at this hotel when visiting the Detroit area to see family. The hotel staff are always extremely courteous and helpful, and the rooms clean, quiet and well appointed. My only complaint is that they began charging for wifi a couple of years ago.

Hello Nancy and thank you being such a loyal guest here in Troy. Regarding the charges for wifi, please know that Marriott rewards gold and platinum elite members so perhaps as you're a frequent guest, it might make sense for you to join our rewards program and take advantage of that perk. We do apologize, that you're disappointed in that... More

We were going back to MI to visit family. My sister recommended the Troy Marriot. This hotel had a great central location for us, once we chose the Marriott, we had the pleasure of dealing w/ Jen. She was amazing, very friendly, she got us set up in a beautiful room...she took the time to make sure we were in... More

Clean, comfortable......price is right. As a Marriott Platinum I always search out the best the chain has to offer. Spent four nights here. No complaints. Room was big and King bed was just what the doctor ordered. Anyone who complains about " the Décor" is a hotel snob. Go stay at the Ritz! This is a Really nice suburban Marriott....enough... More

Above average but not Very Good. Just in between. Stayed for work and whilst the hotel was nice, I felt it was a little dated in decor. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and quiet and overall I was happy with the stay. I would have preferred an in room safe as a traveller concerned re passports etc but managed... More

I'm not happy at all with my stay at this hotel. Stayed in room 1718 and the constant and loud elevator noises were enough to keep me up for much of the night. Front desk service left much to be desired as well. Quite unfriendly, even as a platinum member and was scoffed at when I asked about a room... More

Hello Zaphod and thank you for visiting. We are sincerely sorry for any noise disruption from our elevator equipment. Please know that this is an area of the hotel which is most definitely being addressed in our upcoming renovation happening in late 2014. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you will in fact return again. Safe travels. More

Good hotel and great location for business. Staff was friendly and the lounge on 12 served a very nice breakfast. The location is ideal for high end dining. Even the food at the hotel bar was above average. Overall a great place to stay.

Nothing special - and nothing to remember it by. It's clean, overpriced, and no big deal. If you are looking for something special, you can do much better for cheaper. It really is too expensive - AND they charge for WIFI! Who does that any more?

My wife and I recently stayed in this hotel on the 15th floor. We were not beside the elevator but could hear the motors running throughout the night. We have noticed this noise before but this time it was even worse and we could not drown it out even with ear plugs. Also this location used to offer Marriot Silver... More

A good hotel for my purposes. It is on a major road and had easy access to the locations I had to go to. Room was typical and everything I expected. Beds were comfortable and the room was well sound-proofed as, next door to me were people from my group who were party people. We did not hear them! We... More

I am a Marriot rewards member and stay at Marriot hotels often. I went to a conference here and the food and service was terrible. The management was horrible and rude. The worst experience that I ever had. Needless to say, I am done with Marriot rewards and will never stay at one of these hotels on my trips.

We know that you spoke with several members of our management team, we sincerely apologize that you were not fully satisfied with their assistance. We thank you once again for attending. More
