The room was clean enough, the bed slept o'k the breakfast was the the kind you find in most hotels at breakfast time-the reason to stay down the street is the $5.00 you are charged at check-in for use of the pool, the weight room, internet service and to park your car. You have to pay this even if you... More

Recently my wife, 5 month old son and I stayed at the Met in Troy for a friends wedding taking place at the hotel. With a 5 month old it was key for us to stay in the same hotel to make life a lot easier. When we called to reserve a room we requested a crib and were told... More

This hotel occupies an old Hilton property, located just off the I-75 exit on Crooks. The furnishings are very worn and show use, breakfast is a pass for sure. The things that this hotel has going for it are location and price, which is cheap for the area. If everything else is booked up, as was the case for me,... More

We also got the groupon discount, couldn't imagine paying full price for this dump. Very big hotel , but super empty. Pool was cold, food not good, but came with the package. Room had buckled old stained carpet. Needs updating bad. Pretty decent view of the courtyard in back. Balcony dirty and cigarette butt filled. Would recommend staying elsewhere.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and the customer service completely drove us away. We were treated like we were staying there for free (because we used Groupon) and the receptionist was extremely rude. The hotel is kind of creepy (no customers) and erie. We asked for a late checkout in the morning and the receptionist said... More

This is NOT a 3 star hotel. This should be a -1 start hotel. This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in my life. If you get this hotel through some discount travel sites, do yourself a favor- Forget about the money and book somewhere else.VERY DIRTY dusty noisy( from the AC/Heater) rooms. Customer service STINKS. Hotel Cable/Internet... More

This hotel was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The ad made it sound like a new upscale retro hotel and it was just an old bulding with nauseating carpet. The tv in the room had a horrible buzzing sound coming out of the speakers. The indoor pool was at the most 50 degrees and ridiculously cold.... More

We usually stay at the Drury Hotel but they were booked. The Met had good reviews on the internet so we booked it for two nights. When we arrived the place seem deserted. The lobby was messy. Our room was a long way from the main lobby so we had to drive over. The hallways were cold. When we got... More

If you're just looking for a place to sleep this hotel is probably fine but if you're expecting any of the amenities listed on their website you're in for serious disappointment. Aside from the water damage our room was okay, clean and decent. However, there was no restaurant in the hotel as stated on the website, no bar/lounge area as... More

For the most part I liked this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was that my room was about 200 yards away (or it seemed) from the front desk. It's a hell of a walk. The place seemed to be extremely empty during my 3 days there. I didn't see a single person in the halls but then again... More
