After having read the other reviews, I was ready. I was a guest for 1 week, June 7-14. Woman traveling solo. Yes, it does need some updating, which I believe is imminent. For the rate I paid, it was a very good value. Great location. Safe. Large rooms. Balcony overlooking beautiful green lawn.

The hotel looks great from the outside and inside but I found several problems while I was there. For example, computer in business center not working. TV remote in room didn't work. Staff told me they were unable to get it to sync with the TV because the didn't know the code. Laundry room soap dispenser out of order. No... More

Worst experience. One day, I find and killed roaches and spiders. And then left early to the airport. When i return, they have cleaned up pretty good. I tell them that i found roaches this morning, and they come and check the room and cannot find it, because the room service have cleaned them up. They sort of ridiculed me... More

I stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. We were given a “group rate“ of $109. And was told we have to call to book the rooms. Well I went on Expedia and booked my room for $62.00. When I asked the front desk clerk about the price difference between the two she informed me that she has no... More

We stayed there 3 nights while visiting family nearby. The hotel has a huge parking lot and is three stories, but very spread out. We walked for quite a ways to get to our room. There are no fancy frills in the rooms, no frig, microwave, or coffee pot. There is no breakfast served in the mornings. The third day... More

The parking lot is deserted and is hugeee. Its pretty close to I-75. Stayed one night. Ok for the price. Could see some spider webs in the corner, Dust on the A/C. If you are looking at a cheap hotel to crash in for the night, traveling from state to state on a long drive, not a bad place but... More

While not the most central location, The Met was close to I 75, making it easy to get around. I choose this property because of the room rate and the fact that it included a light breakfast. It was also convenient to a major freeway. While The Met is in need of an update, the room I had was large... More

As others have said it is dated, but it was decent for a one night business trip. The King Size bed was comfortable with good pillows. Our office is close by so the location was perfect for the one night but if I had to spend more than a night in Troy I would look at other options close to... More
