This hotel now is very disappointing! Bathrooms could use updating. We had a broken toilet seat, shower needed to be regrouted (mold & mildew). Ice machine not working just on 1 floor. We stayed in room 278 had to listen to the horrible music piped in at the entrance all night long (2 nights). They were planting flower outside...they need... More

Now I found out about this hotel back in 2010 and it was very high end at that time. Was a regular customer and me and my boyfriend would always both really enjoy our stay. Since then they had went under new management and the place has gone wayyyyyy down!!! Stay couple times in between after new management. Rude front... More

Troy is a business area and the Met was a Hilton in the 1980s, so the building has "good bones" and is in a good location. However, with the exception of the freshly painted lobby, the hotel is filthy. Maintenance is non existent. Maids will make the bed -- with the same soiled sheets reused from the 1980s -- but... We stayed for 1 night. It is very spacious, quiet and the staff was friendly. The decor is a little old fashioned for the outside look of the place. Our room was clean when we arrived, but the carpeting and blankets had a lot of stains. The beds were firm, but had a pillow top cover. We only saw one... More

When pulling up to the hotel the design is very futuristic for a hotel. In the lobby area the decor is odd and out of place. The room reminded me of the Greenbrier in WV. Overall the hotel room was nice, TV reception was blurry, and keys did not work to get me back in the outside doors.

Our visit at the Met Troy was a very unique experience. You could tell that at one time the Met was a very high end hotel in the area, but over the years it had been not taken care of. It appears that the present owners are really trying to restore it's once prestigious standing as a high end Detroit... More

I just want to take a moment and share my experience with; "MET HOTEL" The room was large, clean and stylish. The bed was comfortable...and no bed bugs!!! The front desk staff was professional; also the boutique has a wonderful selection of goodies. "One thing needed "NEW TV" (it was not clear) I felt I needed a weir hanger lol... More

this hotel is disgusting. there was a condom wrapper on the floor of the room, so it had OBVIOUSLY not been cleaned. Mold/mildew/damage everywhere. It is a health hazard. Sleep in your car if this is the only place that's available.

I PREPAID for my reservation on their web site and arrived at 10:30pm. I did not call them to inform them that I would be this late because I had pre-paid. When I arrived, I was told that they had a queen for me. I explained that I had four people and needed two beds, which is what my reservation... More
