We were driving down the main road looking for places to stay, and the Bayshore Resort looked promising and the jacuzzi suite that we got seemed fun for our girl's weekend. It was appealing because all 5 of us (grandmother, mother, and three daughters) could stay together. The front desk staff was friendly. We had not unpacked yet and sat... More

We apologize for your negative experience at our hotel. It is unfortunate that you found a bug in your room upon arrival. We did our best and addressed the situation as quickly as possible We did have the bug looked at right away. The type of bug found is not native to our area. As a precaution, we had the... More

We came with a large group and the hotel was great. They were incredibly accomodating and the staffwasvery friendly. It's completely smoke free and is NOT pet friendly. It is right on the bay too. Our room was clean and was nicely decorated even if dated a little bit. The downsides....no in room coffee pot or firdge. It is located... More

We have stayed here twice now. Once in the summer and now in the winter. Both times I feel it's reasonably priced for the location and pretty comfy. I wish they had more King beds, but it seems we were there during a busy time despite it being winter. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Sure the place... More

Rachael, Thank you for your review. Our staff is very friendly so thank you so much for noticing and commenting on this. The majority of our rooms do have two queen sized beds so it is a little trickier to get a King during busy times! :) We are glad that you have stayed with us a few times and... More

This is a nice hotel on the beach within walking distance of downtown Traverse City. The rooms are spacious, but they lack furniture. There was room for a couch or comfy chairs, but instead there was a small table with a couple of hard chairs. The furniture was very, very dated -- 70's maple veneer. I expected cute, cottage style... More

Our stay was great! We are a scrapbooking group of 18 ladies. We found the Bay Shore to be a PERFECT place for group scrapbooking. They have two large conference rooms with our bedrooms right across the hall. It was amazingly convenient! I cannot say enough about the staff at the BayShore Resort. It was like being at a family... I checked everyone's reviews before I stayed there, and I agree that perhaps the interiors could use a bit of spiff-ing up, but the charm of the place outweighed that for me. I stayed on the 3rd floor in a suite (fireplace & Jacuzzi) and it was very romantic, wonderful view of the bay. In fact, I could hardly come... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you were able to relax in one of our romantic suites! I do apologize that the breakfast was not replenished as quickly as it should have been- we will be sure that our breakfast room staff is watching for this. We hope to see you again in the future! Thank you. More

Rooms a bit out dated..but nice still. Roomn 314 overlooks water and beach front. Love it!!! You can hear the waves very soothing. Rooms have thin walls; can hear everyone in hall way and full conversation. Nice pool and hot tub. Free breakfast. Very resonanble rate. Love the jacuzzi tub in room. Hot water and fills very fast. Staff was... More

The hotel is hosting 3 peewee Hockey teams for the weekend (more on that later). Great view of the water from the Queen spa room on the 2cd floor. Jacuzzi tube worked great, staff was super helpful but the hotel hasnt seen an upgrade in decor since the late 80's early 90's. But why should they, its TC and people... More

This is a very nice hotel ( our first visit here ). We had a nice room across from the pool during the week, and everything from the room, to the pool, and to the hot breakfast was just perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we will definitely return in the future.

We got a room with a lakeside balcony. It was real nice, too bad it rained our entire visit. We really liked the location. Staff was great and we enjoyed the old fashioned look of the place. Room was great.
