An older hotel but still in good shape. One of the key features is its location in downtown traverse city. Just off the waterfront. Easy walking distance to most downtown attractions. Good roof top bar at night it has great views. Will go back on my next business trip.

I stayed for two nights in a king, bay view room on the seventh floor. Yes, it's an older property, but my room was more than adequate, the view was delightful, and the large windows provided wonderful natural light in both the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was on the firmer side, but comfortable, and the bedding was nice, with... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights last week. This hotel has the best location for being in downtown Traverse City. Absolute central walking distance to everywhere we want to go. We have stayed here many times before. The updates to the lobby are very nicely done. The rooms now have flat screen tvs and individual pod coffee... More

The hotel is downtown and close to other downtown activities. Room is small. Was OK but not great. Good parking. Best feature was lounge and bar. Good place to meet and enjoy rest of our crowd. Good view of city. Waitress and bartender were very friendly. Prices fair for a resort area.

Do NOT stay here! The location is nice and the hotel is newish, but their customer service is non existent! My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. Our hotel room was ok, not the cleanest thing I've ever seen. One of the couples in our group ended up having BLOOD and URINE stains... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Park Place and had a very awful experience. We arrived Friday very late in the evening, checked in about 11:30pm. When we finally got up into our room, it was late and we were tired from driving so we crawled right into bed. Assuming we were in a clean room we did... More

The staff is wonderful. The rooms with views are worth it unless you are only going to be there after dark. They have pet friendly rooms! A short walk to my favorite restaurants and the State Theater.

Nice hotel located in the heart of Traverse City. Easy walking distance to area restaurants and shops. Hotel needs some remodeling as it is a tad dated and worn. That being said, I was in one of the terrace suites on the 9th floor and the view is unbeatable. Great place to host a small gathering with friends. I recommend... More

This place used to be such a delightful hotel and I have many fond memories of this faded gem. Check in took a long time and the room was very outdated. The worst part was the water was all warm to hot. I went to the desk immediately and was given a lengthy but unhelpful answer. The best they could... More

I have stayed at the Park Place several times--we often hold work conferences in Traverse City--and I am always glad to go back to the Park Place. The conference was being held at another venue--but I chose to stay here. The rooms are quiet and I love the view. The shower could use a kick in the water pressure--and it... More

Thank you, springlakekathy for choosing to stay with us at every opportunity. I understand your experience regarding our water pressure and heating. You are correct that it is because of the nuances that come with a historic building. However, we are taking steps to implement the latest technology soon. Thank you again. More
