There is a highly dangerous bmx/mountain bike course that kids were playing on, throwing their bikes down the steep elevated wood trail. Witnessed an accident that left an adult scraped and bleeding while tryin gto manuever this course. This should not be near the childrens playground. Parents basically leave their kids unattended because the activities keep them occupied. I saw... More

Just returned from a short camping trip, will never return again unless some major improvements are done. The bathrooms are horrible and were never clean. The mens was out of soap and the hand dry in the womens didn't work and you had to beg them to bring more papertowel. The sinks were clogged all the time, the toilet seats... More

My family recently spent 3 nights at Timber Ridge, and while we had a good time, there are a few negative things worth mentioning. 1) The pool was ICE COLD. They advertise themselves as having a heated pool, but I beg to differ. 2) The "schedule" of events was not always followed and an event my son was looking forward... More

Nice wooded campground but the sites are packed close together. They have a lot of rules/policies but none are enforced. Quiet time for instance, supposedly 11pm but there was partying and noise going on into the early am. Of course there had to be loud cussing too. Unsupervised kids running around into the late hours yelling and screaming. We thought... More

We stayed 4 nights during the week before the Cherry Festival. It was the first camping trip with our 3 kids who are 4, 3, and 15 months. Everyone had a great time and we can't wait to go again. We stayed in the loft style deluxe cabin. It had a double-bed lower bunk with a single upper bunk. There... More

I am a very seasoned traveler and can be a tough person to please. But, I can't say enough about this place and those who manage it. We have stayed in summer and winter and have never been disappointed. We stayed Thanksgiving one year & the staff made sure I had everything needed to make a full holiday dinner. Since... More

First off, to understand my feelings about lodging away from home, see my bio. Myself and my wife decided to take a small, 3 day, 2 night trip up to Traverse for some color touring on October 23 / 25th. As usual I made our reservations before we left, My reason for choosing this place was that it was a... More

This was a great little place to stay while in TC. It was pretty close together for camping but I'm used to more wilderness and less town. Everything was pretty clean though on occasion they were having issues with the toilets plugging up but they cleaned thoroughly after fixing them. Everything is old, painted and repainted and repainted, and they've... More

Great place to take kids, facilities are very clean and lot of activities for the kids. Pool was nice, lodge activities every day. Theme weekends are well planned. Highly recommend for a family vacation, very relaxing for mom and dad when the kids are busy!
