I stayed at the Traverse Victorian Inn in January. It was a fairly nice place and I would stay there again. The rate was good ($40/night for two people), but then again it was January.

Things of note:

* I stayed in room 205.

* The room had a mini fridge and coffeemaker.

* I could easily hear sounds both outside of the building and in the hallway. I'm a relatively light sleeper and woke up a couple of times.

* The in-room gas fireplace is okay. Not that great, but not bad either.

* The shower/bath had two shower heads in it. It was neat to have both on at once.

* The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub.

* There is NO continental breakfast at the hotel, but there is a good breakfast restaurant across the street.

* I could easily hear water running through the pipes in the ceiling of the room. This was actually a good thing for me,because I like white noise when I sleep. It may not be a good thing... more
