Can't say enough nice things about our stay here. It was our ten year anniversary trip. B&B was beautiful, clean, and Jay and Cindy were wonderful. Food was delicious and our room was perfect, including a fireplace which we used frequently during our November stay. Location is perfect, quiet, and yet close to antiques and wineries.

We have spent many years in the Traverse City area, staying in many different venues. The Grey Hare Inn was such a treat! Our family from Wales was delighted with the goumet food, the beautiful setting, and wonderful hospitality of Cindy and Jay. We will definitely return very soon!

We decided to head to Michigan on a whim and didn't plan a thing. Seeing the review for the Grey Hare Inn I called and was able to speak with Cindy. She had only one room left and it happened to be their most expensive but since we were staying two nights she offered it to us at a discount... More

My husband and I stayed here last July for our 1 year anniversary. We were truly disappointed in how we were treated by the owners. We are in our late twenties and were treated as if we were little kids. First of all if we are staying in the most expensive room and paying the outrageous price for a couple... More

I could go on and on about this place. The detail that owners, Cindy and Jay, put into the decor, landscaping and overal look of the place is beyond compare. The food was fantastic too. Very gourmet. It was peaceful and very comfortable to be there, especially with Cindy and Jay's hospitality and kindness. They are very down to earth... More

I love Grey Hare Inn. This was my first trip (as an adult) to traverse city, and I chose Grey Hare Inn as the place in which I would propose to my then girlfriend (now wife). The room was wonderful, it even had a viewing room. Though we spent most of the weekend exploring the peninsula. Breakfast was amazing and... More

This is way more than a "Bed and Breakfast". If you have travelled in southern France you will appreciate what Jay and Cindy have done here. You will be treated to an authentic french experience, in the rolling country side of the Old Mission Peninsula, a few miles fromTraverse City. These two creative, thoughtful, lovely people have replicated a true... More

I wanted to really like this B&B, but there was just too many items that were missing that would have made my review more positive. Let me start with when we first pulled up to the B&B. There is no real landscaping or nice signage to even let you know you are at the correct locatoin. It looks like you... More

I really wanted to like this review, but as so many specifics seemed missing for me to understand what the actual issues were that this guest was attempting to address almost 2 months after their stay that I decided to contact him for more details. To date I have not received an answer so I will attempt to address them... More

It's been two years since my husband and I stayed at the Grey Hare Inn, and I still think about our stay there. The room was immaculate, the food wonderful, and we can't wait to go back! Visited September 2011

This review is long overdue. My husband and I stayed at the Grey Hare Inn in June while we were travelling through Northern Michigan. He had never been to this part of Michigan before. I had as a child but wanted to experience it as an adult. Cindy was great ahead of our visit with the reservation and making sure... More
