We took advantage of Traverse City's Fab Fall Special and chose this hotel. It is right on the beach with well furnished, clean rooms, a decent breakfast, and friendly staff. Each room has a microwave, coffiemaker, and refrigerator. Although we did not take advantage of the pool and hot tub, the area looked very nice. Travese City is a beautiful... More

This is our 5th time staying in this fabulous hotel with our two kids for my husband's Iceman Mt. Bike race in November. Now, we have never been here in the summer when, I'm sure, the hotel is at capacity with families and kids; however, I can't believe it is anything less than perfect. During this stay, we had a... Rooms are updated and clean with a super view. We got a great rate with an online company, so the price was great. Breakfast was good, pool area was very nice. This location needs downstate advertising for winter get-aways, it is a gem. If we get a winter package, we will do it. The staff was welcoming and helpful-we'll be... More

Positives: Very Nice Hotel, Tiled shower and bath, larger upgraded shower head, Whirlpool tub, granite, microwave, fridge, nice large wardrobe, nice chair, also table and chairs, patio, nice sandy beach... Negatives: Some mold in shower on caulk - not a lot but enough that it should have been take care of. They charge a 4% resort fee. I didn't notice... More

We were pleasantly surprised with this property! Clean and comfortable. Front Desk was friendly and competent. The weekend of October 10-12 was and extremely busy weekend. The colors were just about perfect and the weather was cool and crisp! Perfect for pumpkins, apples, bike riding, and wine tasting. Would stay here again!

We paid a bit more than we normally do for a room, but we got a massive suite with two king beds in their own room, dining and living rooms, mini kitchen area and a split bathroom with a separate room for the shower and toilet and a room for the dual sinks. We also had a huge balcony facing... More

Stayed one night so it's hard to complain about the Grand Beach. Room was spacious and clean. The tiled shower was a nice surprise and since we payed a little extra for the view of the lake it was an added bonus. Late September is probably considered the end of the season so the beach was really quiet, even though... More

Stayed here on our Circle Tour of Lake Michigan and Love It!!! It was cool the night we were there and we sat in the enclosed "sunroom" area and watched the sun go down. BEAUTIFUL!! I am sure this is a hopping place in the summer. We loved our stay, very quiet. The breakfast was also wonderful

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years. I have always had great service and no problems, except this year. When I checked in, I was informed that since I was using a debit card, that I would be charged a $150 processing fee and would come off at checkout time. I was never told this when... More

We stayed at this location to celebrate an anniversary. Although the location is on a beautiful beach, the hotel itself is tired. Our room had a giant old jacuzzi tub right beside our bed. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Worst of all, the only sink is in the kitchen area - no sink in the bathroom….gross.
