The location is nice, but the service is terrible. We could not get into one of our rooms because they hadn't cleaned it yet. There were no towels in one of the rooms and the air conditioning quit. They didn't have the rooms cleaned until late afternoon the second day. They also overcharged me an extra night stay and it... More

I recently attended a wedding here and found that they had next to ZERO parking allotted for their wedding guests. We were instructed that we would have to park down at a local Grocery store (a mile down a VERY busy highway with zero sidewalks) and hike back. I was concerned we may get towed from there as well-do they... More

I have stayed at the Parkshore Resort in Traverse City for about 10 years when business has me in the area. I don't stay for vacation as we have a cottage in the area. BUT if I didn't have the cottage I would for sure stay there in the summer months. They have a Happy Hour form 4 to 7... More

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend in May. Since it was off season we got a great rate. The room is nice size, clean, with a comfortable bed. They have a restaurant/lounge on the premises but it is quite noisy. However there is a small but cozy dining room right next door. Everyone was in the lounge so... More

On a road trip cruising around and stumbled upon this gem. Nice hotel, big rooms, clean, but the best part is the lounge and restaurant. We walked in ordered a drink and the place was packed on a Sunday night. The hotel wasn't busy but all these people? Checking out the menu ordered the shrimp, delicious, plate covered with those... We stayed for a weekend while in Traverse to go Christmas shopping and meet up with friends for dinner. The hotel was nice and clean. I would not recommend their breakfast buffet - it was not very good for the price.

We've stayed here many times ranging from the 2room suite with balcony over the water to looking at the campground. The furniture is worn but still comfy, maybe put a towel down first? We've always ate in the lounge. Both recently and this past fall the food was down right awful breakfast and dinner. The wait/bar staff is more concerned... More

When you walk in the lobby - there is a musty smell. When I got to my room immediately I smelled cigarette smoke. I returned to the lobby to request another room. The attendant told me that all the rooms are non-smoking. I told her that I understand but....the room I was assigned was full of cigarette smoke. I was... More
