We stayed two nights in a villa during the iceman cycle race weekend. How amazing the place is. 2200 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3 bath, washer and dryer, 25 feet from the water, huge living/dining area, heated tile floors, wine refrigerator in the wet bar area, and great island in the kitchen area where we snacked and talked. The dining... More

My wife and I love TC. We were visiting for a wine tour and wanted to find a place with a jacuzzi tub. Sugar Beach was one of the only ones left...and here we are! First, our price was $89/night for a first floor with a nice view of Hooters. Not bad, really, considering there's a king size bed and... More

Usually stay here once or twice a year. This time the hotel is really showing that it needs an update, a good cleaning or both. Bedding very old and worn; stained bedspreads. Walls and ceilings are in need of attention; repainting. Hallways look beat up, walls and carpet need attention. Breakfast is the same-waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, yogurt and bland... More

This place is really great. Great location great staff right on your own private section of beach. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The property is clean and well cared for. My only complaint was the weather it rained all 3 days we were there. Not the resorts fault. The room we stayed in had a mini fridge ,microwave... More

The room was fairly clean and the beds comfortable. The toilet had a crack in the base and leaked onto the bathroom floor. We had a balcony, however, the gnats were so prolific we couldn't set out and enjoy the view of the bay. I was not at all impressed with the breakfast service. Nothing hot so all you had... More

Stayed there during a perfect week in July with the kids and it was perfect! Rooms are clean and just enough for staying at a beach front resort with mini fridges and microwaves in room and free breakfast every morning. The boat rental is situated there so it makes it so easy and convenient to rent boats or trampoline the... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The room was large, beautiful, and clean. We stayed in a king room, lake view with a balcony. The view was breathtaking. There was a mini-fridge, small table with two chairs, a couch and coffee table, and a night stand on both sides of the king bed. The room... More

This hotel on the beach facing the lake and with a balcony view is very enjoyable. Our clean room was large with 2 sinks and a microwave oven and a refrigerator. Good maid service. The breakfast was minimal, basically a cold buffet with no meat or eggs, inefficiently laid out and served -- very easy to skip in favor of... More

After staying here for one night last summer, we decided to return and spend the first week of September. We were not disappointed ! Check-in was effortless and the staff were more than accommodating. A special thanks to Lauren for all of her help. The room was extremely clean and well decorated. The bonus feature for us is that the... More

Went with several friends who had been to Traverse City before----this was my first time. We got a very good deal on a suite: $744 for 3 nights, which worked out to $186 apiece or $62 per person per night. The quarters were a bit cramped, but that's what we signed on for. The room was a bedroom with two... More
