I just came back from my weekend getaway from Traverse City. I booked this hotel through booking.com. Upon my arrival they have room waiting for us on the 2nd floor, when I mentioned that I am traveling with two older ladies (my mom is 80 and just had hip-replacement, and my MIL is 85) they accommodated us by moving us... The rooms on the first floor go right out to the beach. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing. They have beach chairs and sand games you can use anytime. They allow midnight swims and star gazing on the beach. They are very close to some good restaurants and Pirates Cove adventure park! We will be visiting here again next year!

What a great place to stay and enjoy some quality beach time at. We had a first floor room with our own sliding glass entry out to the beach. There were always plenty of lounge chairs available and the beach was very clean. The sand was so soft between the toes :-) What a great place to take time to... More

This hotel is located on one of Traverse City's bays. It has a nice sandy beach and there is a boat rental/para sailing place next door. A lovely view. Rooms on the first floor have sliding doors to their own small patios. No privacy on the patios but that's OK. Second floor rooms have their own balcony. Rooms are fine,... More

My husband and I just came back from Traverse City and we stayed here. The hotel may be dated a bit but it was very clean and the staff were always working. We did not eat the continental breakfast because they all are not that great no matter where you stay. The beach was beautiful and the sand was like... More

I stayed at this hotel recently. The photos they have online are nothing like the place. NOTHING! I checked in around 6:30pm. There was no one in the office and no bell. After waiting almost 10 minutes, I looked up their phone number and called the hotel to tell them I was waiting at the front desk trying to check... More

I will say this hotel is dated and not in a charming way. But with that said it has to be one of the cleanest well maintained hotels I have stayed in. The view is beautiful and the private beach is perfect. The staff seem to take pride in the place and it shows.

This hotel had potential, 1950 maybe, but for $260 a night in a room that is comparable to a motel 6 I am hardly impressed. The breakfast was lackluster in every way, microwave eggs, actually my husband just informed me the eggs are pancakes, and something that resembles a sausage. The view is the ONLY thing worth while at this... More

Very helpful front desk! Had to get a reservation quickly and looked online for prices and they suggested to get the best price to book online. Well worth it. Clean room and comfortable bed right on Grand Traverse Bay. This happened in late June but was pleasantly surprised they had an opening. Would stay there again!

Stayed in jacuzzi suite for our wedding on the beach. Very friendly staff, boat/ jet ski rental next door, beautiful location and friendly guest! The beach was well maintained and accommodations were up to par. There were no issues with parking literally unpacked from my trunk to the room. Walkout room with covered porch and plenty of shaded tables for... More
