You get what you pay for. This probably is the cheapest hotel in Traverse but it comes with its downsides. Being that I have frequent trips to big cities like NYC, I make it a habit to lift up the top mattress and inspect for bed bugs and this was no exception. Holy infestation. I told the manager about it,... More

There's a reason this 'hotel' is only $39 a night. The rooms are small and outdated, the shower looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages, the wi-fi never worked, and the whole place just felt dingy and filthy. You can do so, so much better than here.

My husband and I stayed here for a romantic getaway, or a night away from the kids. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the jacuzzi in our room felt wonderful. The rates in winter were more than reasonable. Coffee, and a small continental breakfast was included. I would recommend this motel to others. Clean, simple.

Rooms have been remodeled and are very nice. Room could have used another piece of furniture, especially when you have a family. Breakfast also could have been a little better just by adding some fruit. Its pretty limited. Don't miss the Omelette Shoppe restaurant near the hotel for breakfast!

We frequently stay at this hotel for several reasons. It is the least expensive hotel I can find. Is consistently clean, predictable, and we know what we are getting. No surprises, just a quiet night. Now, if you like to be loud or have people in and out, the owners are pretty rigid. You cant even bring your bicycle in the... More

I stayed here for just a night as a stopover, and it met my expectations. Although nothing fancy, the rooms were spotlessly clean and everything met my expectations. Breakfast is very basic (coffee, cereal, muffins, etc), but for the price I was pleasantly surprised there was a breakfast at all. Reading the other reviews of this property, it seems that... More

This is an older property which has been totally renovated. Nicely done and nicely decorated. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room. It was large with lots of space to move around the beds and other furniture. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient at both check-in and check-out. The towels are large and fluffy. The bed was... More

We reserved this hotel at a great rate at the very last minute. Realizing that it was an older hotel we weren't expecting much. The staff was nice but the most surprising things was how clean our room was, everything is dated but well maintained and probably the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. The shower and toilet are... The room was clean and was adequately stocked with towels. Had a refrigerator which is always a nice added feature. The breakfast had a variety of items. It was nice that they could accommodate us with a ground floor room. The motel is convenience for shopping, sightseeing and a trip to the casino. Overall very happy with the room and... More

We have stayed here several times in the past and it has always been decent for the price. This time we thought we came prepared, but we were mistaken. During the winter our room is always to hot and you can't seem to adjust the temperature so this year we brought our fan. This year the heat didn't seem to... More
