My husband and I were thrilled to find Old Mission Inn for this year's anniversary celebration; from booking with Tyler (and later playing cornhole!) to being regaled with stories of Bruce and Angie's passionate and extensive remodeling over the years to just knowing we were in a unique spot up on the peninsula, there was nothing lacking and we couldn't... This is our second stay at this inn, and we couldn't be happier with the service, room and food. The family running the inn makes this a unique experience. It is close enough to Traverse City to make a run into town doable, yet far enough away to feel like you "got away from it all"

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in May. We were up to run the Bayshore Marathon. We fell in love with the old place immediately! The history of the inn is fascinating! The owners, Angie and Bruce, are very friendly and showed us all around the inn. There is so much to look at. The grounds are... More

This place is a gem! We were greeted with friendly family service from the time we walked in until the time we left. We were fortunate to stay 4 nights which really allowed us to get to know the family as well as the history of the inn. If you want peace and quiet away from town this place is... More

I'm so happy we chose this inn. Since it was the beginning of the season and there were extra rooms available, they upgraded our room to a suite-free of charge. The family running this inn made us feel so at home. We heard all about the history of this historic inn, and also shared stories with the inn keepers. Their... More

We're not normally the B&B sort, but we booked this in order to participate in an event with a group of friends. I am very pleasantly surprised. The hosts are the epitome of graciousness. The extensive research they have done on the history is very impressive and their passion for the building is contagious. Our room is very comfortable and... More

My friends and I go on a mystery trip every year and we traveled to Michigan's wine country this year. Old MIssion Inn was a wonderful part of our stay. The charm of the Inn was awesome and added a historical element to the trip that was very fun. Angie and Bruce were by far the best part as you... More

This is our 3rd year gathering for a weekend to tour the wineries & other sites. Instead of each couple renting a hotel room we decided to rent the cabin at the Inn, which worked out well! It gave us the opportunity to hang out with each other in one space instead of room hopping. While we had limited contact... More

I drove up to Old Mission peninsula with my fiancé to go wine tasting this past weekend. We went up and down the peninsula to different wineries and shops, including a few in Traverse City. It was an amazing weekend made even more enjoyable by Angie and Bruce, the owners of the Old Mission Inn. The hotel is the oldest... More

My son Michael Dease and his wife Gwen Dease selected the old Mission Inn as the host home for their entire wedding party, we the parents had the fully equipped cabin, I could not have imagine the level of comfort that we had. From arrival time, until we departed. The host Angie was very polite, even join in with us... More
