We attended a wedding at the Chateau, the setting was beautiful! The accommodations were marginal at best. Our room was the French School Sitting Room; rather expensive for having to sleep on a pull out bed in a shared room with another couple as required by the venue contract. The room had a huge very deep bathtub shower which made... More

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. We spent a couple of days at Chateau Chantal and it was amazing. The staff and service were wonderful. The breakfasts were to-die-for. We especially loved that the tasting room is open to guests after hours to try as many wines as you like!!!! I can't wait to come back... More

first, the location on Old Mission peninsula is probably one of the more outstanding winery locations I've seen ; aside from the Finger lakes in New York. You meander through the vineyards on the short drive in. Seemed busy , but never rushed or crowded. Instead of an ' en masse' rush to the bar, you wait for next available... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the VanGogh Suite at Chateau Chantal! The views of the sunset from our suite were amazing! They allowed us to check-in a few hours early because our room was available. Had a fabulous dinner down the road at Old Mission Tavern. Enjoyed EVERYTHING about this place....the Tasting Room, views from the... More

The winery is beautiful, and the views of the vineyard and lake are breathtaking. The wine tastings are a great value. I believe we had six tastings for three dollars. We did enjoy their Late Harvest Riesling and Naughty Apple. The only negative is that we felt that our wine server lacked a bit in personality. A positive is that... More

I wish we could have stayed longer. My wife and I spent the weekend at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The views are wonderful. The staff could not have been more fun, welcoming, and helpful. Many times we felt more like family, than we did a paid visitor. The wine tour was very well done. We very much enjoyed the... More

My husband and I stayed at Chateau Chantal for one night as part of a larger "up north" road trip to Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Traverse City. If I could do it over again, I'd spend much more of the trip at Chateau Chantal! I honestly can't think of one detail to complain about - from check-in to our reluctant check-out,... More

Beautiful views, accommodations, and people await the traveler at CC. We've stayed in the B and B three times, eaten their speciality dinners twice, and visited tonight for wine buying. Each time we've been met by some of the happiest people on earth. (These people must really like their jobs!) This is a gem among many fine places in this... More

Great facility and clean We were very dissappointed at the getleman that was giving us the wine taste that he didn't know anything about the wines he was serving It was worth the trip just for the amazing views of the vineyards

Hello, Thank you for the review and letting us know is sounds that this staff member needs more training, to say the least. I apologize for your experience and look to correct this. Thank you, Marie-Chantal Dalese More

at Christmas we gave our kids gift certificates to Chateau Chantal. We were quite surprised when we received the exact same gift from our kids. What a pleasant surprise. We stayed in the large two bedroom suite for two nights. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine was a pleasure. Our room was very spacious, and clean. We have... More
