We have stayed at this inn several times and were hoping to stay this past weekend while we attended their 7-course wine pairing dinner. Sadly, all rooms were booked. The dinner, however, was excellent! Great food and wine pairings and good service. The tour prior to the dinner was informative and interesting. The staff here is very knowledgeable and fun.... This was my first time at this B&B .Room was clean and decorated very well .I know that the soup natzi was a fictional character on a sitcom but the breakfast natiz is alive and well at Chateau. Breakfast (8:30 sharp) and if they run out of any item then none for you ,and they did run out .one glass... More

Greetings, Thank you for bringing to our attention a default in our breakfast service. While our breakfast is served at 8:30, the remaining staff should have provided a method for you to warm up what remained or help find an option for you. It's true, we are not a full service hotel, but a B&B/Inn as we claim on all... More

We had a great time staying at the Inn. It was nice to meet so many people at night when we did the after hour tasting!! Great trip and would like to do it again!! The tour of the vineyard was very interesting. Can't say enough about the breakfast's....first class food!!! To have the owners serve us was such a... More

Chateau Chantal is a B&B, not a hotel so set your expectations accordingly. The rooms are comfortable and roomy, and the views are spectacular. They provide after hours wine tasting for free which is a really nice touch. Service is however minimalistic. Do not expect a warm greeting or an appreciative hello. Breakfast is served a 8:30AM. Their brochure says... More

My husband just came back from a wonderful two night at this amazing B&B. This was our second trip to the Chateau. The views are beautiful from the room. Very romantic with a giant tub in the bathroom. Wine is offered in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Quiet and just a fabulous place to get away from it all. Highly... More

We stayed at the Inn on our honeymoon 10 years ago and this was our first time back (only the tasting room this time, though)! The property is just as beautiful as I remembered, with a breath-taking view of the bay. The wines were even better! I like it sweet and decided to taste the Sarah flight. Champagnes were a... More

We were a part of Tasters Guild of Michigan having a wine weekend in the area. The group stayed at this B&B. What a great surprise. We stayed in the Le Basque Guest room which had a view of both bays. It is located over the very quiet lobby. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. Had the standard amenities.... More

We stopped in as part of our tasting tour to see this winery and we were glad we did! No, we didn't stay overnight, but the place is so gorgeous and remarkable, I had to write a review. We were pleasantly greeted by the server and offered several flights of wine. My wife really enjoyed the Riesling while I enjoyed... More

We've never not stopped when in the area. Honestly the most beautiful spot in northern Michigan. The wine is wonderful and if you're wanting a picturesque spot for a wedding, you won't find anything better in the Midwest. Worth the drive from anywhere.
