We were pleasantly surprised. Staff was courteous - Jacqueline and Donna were very helpful. 2nd floor room was extremely quiet as we stayed on side away from train tracks. Water pressure has been an issue for us in other motels and we had no problems. Motel is a little older and rooms have strong air freshener smell. Even so, the... More

Price was great - package deal for Henry Ford Museum. Jacqueline and Donna were wonderful to work with. Room smelled as if someone had once smoked in it and covered it with air freshener, but the very comfortable beds and extremely quiet room made up for that. I'm sitting in my room getting some work done. Door is open and feeling the breeze and hearing the birds. I come home to Detroit couple times a year for work and to see friends and always get my favorite room for 2-3 weeks. It becomes home. It simple clean and quiet not much is around the hotel in Walking distance. There is a Hooters near by and a home depot so if you're a alcoholic construction worker your in luck. Wal-Mart I and many more other stores and restaurants and fast food restaurant's are down the road.

We were a bit concerned when staying for two nights that the 'free' bottle of water was not offered by the receptionist and like a small boy I could not have two, but had to go back to reception on day two for the second one (if you sign up for a Red Roof card you get a free bottle... More

Although our room was clean and okay as far as furnishings look there are absolutely no amenities in the room. Not even tissues. ...have to blow your nose kon scratchy (read that cheap) toilet paper. No coffee...no microwave....no refrigerator. And the price was the same as we have paid for rooms with all of the above. It was close to... More

I am sorry you found our amenities lacking, for your specific room type. We do have Superior King and Deluxe Double rooms, with micro fridges, ironing boards, and work desks. Less amenities are reflected, in greater savings. When the need arises, for greater choices, we are there for you, as well! More

Stayed at this motel in late April 2015. Price was very reasonable. Rooms were very clean, bed was very comfortable. Plenty of pillows. The rooms here are very comfortable, always clean, and always nice and warm. Never had a problem with any of the rooms. Also Tineka gave great service and gave good directions to where every room is located.

Jacqulyn, Tineka, and Jill are amazing!! I am a frequent visitor and they always go out of their way to make sure all my needs are met. They always try to get me the room that I like...if you talk to them they will take good care of you.
