Stayed for 2 nights over our 10 year anniversary. in the Atlas room. Beautiful in every way. Staff very accommodating but not over bearing. Loved walking around the farm. Close to many small towns with wineries and great restaurants. We will be back. more

We loved the inn. The hosts were gracious, friendly and eager to please. We stayed in the Rigel room. The room was very clean, spacious for two people, the sheets were fabulous. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The breakfast and afternoon cookies were delicious. Wine tasting, creamery, horses and front porch rockers, what more could you... more

This place has everything right: nice staff; great food; spotless rooms and restful decor. Added pluses of the winery and retail food offerings make it ideal for foodies or wine tourists. I love that lights are where needed to read or work and on dimmers if you don't need task lighting. Wonderful beds. Close enough to Traverse City to be... more

My friend flew in from San Diego and we had been to Blackstar Farms once before in July to the wine tasting room. We decided to head up there from the Ann Arbor area for a couple of days relaxing fireside at the bed and breakfast while it snowed outside. The stay there was *AMAZING*! We felt very pampered and... more

Glorious October on the Leelanau peninsula! It is the perfect time to visit this area of Michigan and the Inn at Black Star Farms is a perfect location for touring the area. The inn is situated on the farm and is surrounded by birch ladened hills on two sides, vineyards on another, while stables, petting zoo and gardens are across... more

Wow.. We finally found an Inn that really knows how to do "IT". Amazing customer service from the minute you walk in the door, actually it starts with the reservation process. There was nothing missing, they even thought of a few things that really impressed us ie: the black wash cloths for makeup removal. The staff were amazing. We love... more

My husband and I stayed at the Inn last weekend because of the reviews on this website. It was truly wonderful. We felt pampered from the minute we arrived. We stayed in the Mira room which was very nice and the pillows are incredible. Jill took very good care of us. We will definitely return for a stay in the... more

Fabulous place. We stayed for three days for our honeymoon. The Polaris Room was just great. King bed & jacuzzi tub. It also had a small patio out back, very nice feature to sit there & enjoy some wine. The happy hours were awesome. Great food & wine. You must go to these if you stay there. The staff was... more
