We were staying in Sterling Heights to catch a concert at Freedom Hill. Our group of 5 was originally booked at what we thought was the Days Inn across the street which turned out to be an extremely sketchy America's Best Value Inn. Upon seeing the Best Value Inn we canceled and headed to see if we could get a... more

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The check in line was loud and unorganized. They couldn't find my reservation and the manager on staff was rude. The staff didn't seem very knowledgable. The room was ok, but for the price I expected better. The water park was nice for the kids but it was nothing special... more

We stayed at the Best Western Sterling Inn for a wedding and were there for three nights. The rooms were average. The two beds were high (not a problem, just something to note for people who might find that difficult) and the bedding was very comfortable. There was a fridge in the room, a small desk, two chairs and a... more

YES,one time when we were there a child had a accident(poop) in the pool. But, the staff quickly closed the pool down to take care of it. And did check the water before... more

When I checked in I found the staff very friendly and kind. I was worried when our room was on the other side of the parking lot which meant we had to use the skywalk to get to the waterpark which was quite a distance a way. It turned out to be a blessing. The long hallways of each floor... more

First I booked a smoking room and checked in to find out they don't have smoking room you have to go outside. In 5 degree weather? I don't think so. I got my bill under the door and found a charge on my credit card for $250/ smoking in no smoke room. Your joking me right? The water park is... more

The Sterling Inn Best Western is a great hotel for families. It has an awesome waterpark, arcade, and gift shop. Some things we didn't particularly care for was the fact that our room didn't have a microwave. We couldn't reheat any of our leftovers which didn't make the kids very happy. The hotel is very long which makes for a... more

My three children and I checked into the hotel and went straight to the water park. We played in the swimming pool for about 20-30 minutes when I noticed a large bowel movement in the pool. The front desk manager said that was to be expected and they would clean the pool and re-open it in about thirty minutes. I... more

Just came back from a 4 day stay at the Best Western Sterling Inn with my 2 daughters (Age 4 and 2) and my husband (who was in town on business). After driving for 6 hours, we were all a little tired and cranky while checking in. The employee was very pleasant and gave us an upgrade which was extremely... more
