After reading the other post, I was scared to have learned that this was where I had reservations. I arrived about 11:00 a.m. and check-in wasn't until 3 p.m. however the nice young lady at the front desk told me that since I was there on business and had an important meeting to attend that she was going to go... I looked forward to my family reunion in Southfield from 8/26 - 8/29. Upon arriving at the Ramada, we walked in to a beautiful lobby with a lovely decor - quite impressive, or so we thought. Showed up for a Convention (held at the facility) April 30 - May 1 2003. Exterior of hotel and inside lobby wall going under renovation. Scaffolding and workers everywhere.
