Stayed the weekend at Old Harbor Inn. The room was definitely in need of updating. The balcony was barely large enough for two chairs. The part of the blinds to swivel to close was missing from two windows. The screen was ripped in the sliding door leading to the balcony. The internet connection was sporadic at best and as another... More

This is a really nice hotel bang in the middle of everything that this charming town has to offer. wouldn't look any further if I were you.Clean rooms, friendly staff and a couple of waterfront bars serving good food within 2 minutes walking distance.

We stayed here during the Blueberry Festival, and I am so glad we did. It was such a blast! Not only is York's Landing in the hotel but The Idler river boat and a new dock type bar are right there in Old Harbor Village. There is a movie theater with in less than a block. Walking to either beach... More

We stopped into South Haven when visiting friends in a nearby town and booked a room for one night without a reservation. They were very accommodating, the price was reasonable (Thursday night in August), and it is quite convenient to local attractions. On Thursdays (maybe every Thursday in the summer?) there is a local venue/open music festival in the evening... More

My wife and I stayed during the Blueberry festival and had a great time. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Late night noise not really a problem. Easy walking distance to everything. South Haven is such a nice little town, everyone is so friendly. We had a harbor landing room and loved the view.

Thanks! South Haven is a great beach town. We are a friendly bunch here, laid back and unpretentious, yet our compact downtown is packed full of great shops and restaurants. Our white sugar sand beaches are amazing. Our historic red light shines bright in all seasons. And everything is within walking distance of Old Harbor Inn. Great views and great... More

We stayed in room 6 with our two young children the weekend of the blueberry festival in August. My kids jumped up and down when they first entered the room. This room has high ceilings, a giant tub in front of a bay window, and giant windows on three sides. We have a stunning view of the harbor, the pirate... More

Our fantastic location, downtown, on the water, means we are also in the heart of the nightlife. Most of our guests like it, and accept that there can be some music and crowd din on summer weekends. This was reserved online, so I personally emailed this guest: "Room 6 is a great room, but it may be noisy if the... More

Recently, we wanted to get away for a few days and we thought South Haven and the Old Harbor Inn would be ideal. When we got there, there was a sign on our door explaining that there would be no water for a few hours during our stay. No big deal...we would just plan around it. Well...the water was shut... More

That was quite the day, good plan, unfortunate execution. What we thought was a 30 minute job took a few hours and did disrupt some guests in our main building, so we comped the night. Thank you for your understanding. We do try to go the extra mile for our guests. We like our guests to be happy with their... More

Friends of this guest reviewed us 7/23. To be clear, their friend's Jacuzzi was clean at check in. We failed to clean it properly while refreshing the next day. We apologized, cleaned it immediately, and discounted. Saturday night, we did our best with this group of 6, who were unhappy with the various entertainment venues they visited prior to retreating... We needed a room for one night, and we were thrilled to get a room at Old Harbor. Our room was very spacious with a jacuzzi and a great view! Although no balcony, we had a huge picture window. Our plan was to relax. We pulled the two chairs up in line with the window, opening them to enjoy the... More

One of the best perks of my job is looking out on the harbor! I never tire of watching the boats in summer, but the harbor is always beautiful. It sparkles in the sunlight and shimmers in the moonlight. Sometimes in winter it freezes over, but at the first sign of spring fishermen are bundled up and headed back out... More

We had a great stay here at the Harbor Inn. It really is the best location in town if you just want to park your car and walk everywhere. Beach, bars, restaurants and shopping within walking distance and hanging out over the harbor was very nice. We stayed in #6 so yeah, loudest room in the hotel but it did... More

Thank you! You describe us really well. If you like staying on the water, if you like being in the heart of the action and if you like to park your car once and walk to the beaches, shops, restaurants and yes, nightlife, you will love Old Harbor Inn. But if one of your top priorities is quiet, and it's... More
