We stayed in the Pomeroy which is its own little building down the street from the actual hotel. King bed, pull out couch for the kids, perfect for this family of four. My only negative was the lobby hours b/c we we left town around 8 am and the lobby was closed. Regular hotel room keys (not ours) opened the... More

We just returned from a 3-night stay at the Old Harbor Inn. Our friends raved about this place (great location on the harbor, walking distance to beach, stores & restaurants, and night life on the docked "party barge"). So 6 of us decided to make a weekend of it. The area was nice, but the "party" atmosphere we were looking... More

There are two sides of every story. Bottom line, our staff did their best to appease a group of six, who in their own words were seeking a party atmosphere, at night, in our pool area. The front desk/maintenance man, who was actively working with another guest, did remove himself from the pool area when the six became colorfully vocal.... More

Stayed overnight Sunday 07/20/14. We stayed in suite 35, a grand suite w/fireplace. Average room with great location on river in downtown. Prices reflect location in downtown. Overpriced in my estimation. Great harbor views from deck. Rooms are not very private and balconies are tiny. Our room was updated, but smelled of dirty towels or rags used to clean. Glad... More

We stayed at Old Harbor Inn for 2 nights, July 18-July 20. It was our first time staying in town. Our room had a harbor view with a small balcony. The view was beautiful and despite a restaurant being below our room window it was tranquil when the patio door was shut. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the... More

Great location but that's all they have to offer. I think they know their location is great too so they think they can get away with dirty rooms and unfriendly staff. I would only stay here again if I was desperate to stay right in town. Make sure to bring Clorox wipes and Lysol if you stay here!!

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and night life! I stayed in Suite 12 which I thought was an excellent location at the end. It was located on the second floor so we had our own private balcony. The balcony was small but nice to have none the less. The room was a... More

This hotel was is good walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants. The Inn itself left much to be desired. Our balcony was 3' by 4' , very small. The door to the balcony had no lock on it. We were on the second floor but . . . There was no fan in the restroom which made... More

Good location. We were at the Pomeroy building. It had some cobwebs and smashed bugs on the wall..could've used a good cleaning. Standing water in the coffee pot..would recommend taking a sound machine as the drawbridge is right outside the room...bed was comfortable. Easy short walk to shops & restaurants..a bit longer to the beach/pier

Old Harbor Inn is the best place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the town. Walking distance to all beaches, bars and restaurants. Rooms are owned by different people so ask for an updated one if possible, some are very nice, others could use some updates. Off season rates are very reasonable, summer rates are... More

Stayed in room 10. First problem was finding room in building b. they said it was in heart of bar scene and noisy til 2 am. Not much of issue for me and wife since we go to bed at 1 am in Chicago. Everything in walking distance but, room layout not great since as you walk into room the... More
