This was our second visit to this hotel/casino complex and again we had problems. Last year there was a mix-up with the room keys. This year the keys wouldn't work. I had to go back to the front desk and have them reprogram the key-card so it would work. The door stuck so bad I almost had to kick it... More

My friends and I take gambling bus trips through northern lower Michigan and the upper peninsula. We always stay at the Kewadin Casino Hotel in Sault Saint Marie. The facilities are fabulous. A variety of food offerings. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Bus groups receive credits in the casino and food vouchers, that cover most meals. The rooms... More

It was a bare bones hotel room, but clean. I absolutely hated sleeping with the nasty bedspread and blanket- I truly wish hotels would do away with these things as they are not washed for each new guest. The cycling of the AC kept waking me up and I ended up with a horrible headache due to lack of quality... More

Not impressed with the hotel. When checking in the computers went down and 2 tour buses had just arrived, it was a mess. For $71 a night the rooms are outdated, carpets were stained, I turned the water on in the bathroom and the handle broke off in my hand. Room service was only available until 8 PM. Not worth... More

We stayed at the Kewadin Casinos Hotel for a few nights because we went on a Kewadin Excursion trip. The hotel is large and, in my opinion,, adequate but no more than that. The room had two queen beds with one night stand and lamp between them. We prefer sharing a bed and this arrangement makes it impossible for the... More

Attended a reunion Aug 2014 Called ahead and upgraded to a Suite for an extra $20.00 a day. This was my first experience renting a suite and it was great. Two rooms and a large washroom with a shower booth and a whirl pool tub. This came with a daily $10.00 credit on your "Big brother is watching Casino card" but... More

The carpeting throughout the halls, elevators and rooms was spotted, worn and dirty. The doors to the rooms looked like they had been kicked near the bottom...a veneer coating apparently was used as a cheap substitute and looked terrible. The rooms and hallways smell of stale smoke. The bath towels were so thin and small.......of very cheap quality. Walls are... More

did not stay at the hotel. Went for the buffet. Once you enter the lobby all you can smell is cigarette smoke . The restaurant is located near the slot machines. Had to wait for server to check out customers. Once seated service was good. The buffet was run of the mill. Most of the items for dinner were sitting... More

Nothing special here. Small casino. They did give us $10 as new members to play. Can't complain about that but no poker games ruining. Extremely limited video poker. Good variety of slots given the space. I wouldn't make a trip here if it were out of the way but the building and decoration is pretty nice if you're in town.... More

The hotel could use some renovation. The carpets in the common areas and elevators is looking pretty worn and dirty. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is average. The pool is rather difficult to access for someone who is handicapped, it requires a long walk from some of the rooms to get to the elevator to it. We did... More
