Just checked in campground. Very poor lay out. Fire pits are not even close to lots. At least 25' away.do not recommend this place to anyone. Grass around fire pit is not even cut. At least 10" high. Not many trees or grass

We have stayed here in the past (approx. 2 yrs ago) and it was very nice. We now are downsizing and have a tent and the place was not mowed, we were offered a site that was "under water". Was told that there was a municipal campgrounds down the road. They acted like we were not welcome at all and... More

Even though there were few amenities, The fact that we could park our RV facing the St. Mary's River, was simply amazing. We All enjoyed seeing the freightliners coming through. The office also provided us with a fact sheet on the boats and the different horn signals. Great price too!

Aune Osborn is located on the St. Mary's River and makes for great freighter watching. And you won't have to wait long to see a freighter either. They pass through the Soo Locks on a regular basis (the Soo Locks are busier than the Panama Canal). It is very interesting to watch as the ships navigate the river, and they... More

Because Aune Osborn is relatively new, the trees aren't large and it has a bit of a parking lot look. However, the showers and laundry look new and were well kept. The gal at the registration desk was super nice. We had a site on the water and loved seeing the freighters go by.

Convenient location, with amply sized lots even for big rigs. Pads are grass & gravel and are quite level. Some low areas are slow to drain after a deluge. Water, electric & WiFi in most sites. Like I said, it's all about the view.

We have enjoyed staying here the past several years. Lots are nice and spacious. Watching the freighters cruise up and down river is enjoyable. Could spend hours watching them. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Restrooms are well maintained. Location is convenient to casino and downtown area.

We booked this campground because of it's location within walking distance from the Soo Locks #1 to take the tour during our stay. Watching the boats going up and down the St. Mary's River was great!! Didn't mind the ferry whistle either. No shade but our weather was not hot so it was fine but if we needed our A/C... More

A must campground to stay for viewing the big lakers as they enter/leave the Soo Locks. Typical RV park with close sites in a treeless environment. Boat launch also attached to park and casino nearby.
