We just returned from the most delightful stay at a charming B & B in Saugatuck! When we checked into our room ( Accurately named "Summer in Santorini" ) we were mentally transported to the Greek Isles! What a fantastic atmosphere! The room was so cozy and cheerful! We had a most wonderful day shopping, and visiting the beautiful shoreline... more

Our weekend stay couldn't have been better -- from the warm, exquisitely decorated, antique-filled interior of the Inn, to the unbelievable food (ah, the hors dʼoeuvres!) that was always plentiful, to the incredible flower gardens that surrounded the Wickwood. The Picasso room was fantastic -- Picasso's prints hanging on the walls, books about art, selected music CDs, chocolate covered strawberries... more

I just got back from a weekend in Saugatuck, and while I absolutely love the town and did have a wonderful time, I sincerely doubt I will ever stay at the Wickwood again. This is my second time at the establishment, and both have been disappointing. I have to admit, it is a beautiful inn. The common areas are wonderfully... more

The Wickwood was lovely, immaculate and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food good and plentiful. Public spaces were many and inviting. We spent much time browsing Julee's amazing collection of books, sitting in a cozy nook. Two porches were equally inviting. Saugatuck is an especially charming town. Needless to say, we would recommend; we would go back.... more

As frequent travelers, who have stayed at many hotels and B&Bs, we would like to share our experience with other travelers of a most wonderful visit we had at the Wickwood Inn in Saugatuck. This was our first visit to Wickwood, and we were greeted by a very warm and gracious Innkeeper. We were given a tour of the main... more

I wanted a quick and quiet getaway and thought this might be ideal because I had stayed at the Wickwood before and loved it. Granted, the last time I stayed there was in the summer but I thought with the warm and cozy atmosphere we had experienced before, that both my significant other and I would enjoy this winter time... more

I will start with a few compliments: the Wickwood is aesthetically beautiful. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are well-decorated. And our innkeeper was sweet as could be. She was attentive and wonderful. And that's where the compliments end. I am really upset by how misrepresented the Wickwood is on its website. I thought I was vacationing at a food... more

My husband and I decided to spare no expense and treated ourselves to a weekend away after a very stressful year. We found the Inn with a google search, knew of Julee as a result of the cookbooks and figured the Inn would most definitely live up to both her reputation and the description on the Wickwood Inn website. Since... more

We regretfully have to add this review to this list of non-rave reviews about the Wickwood Inn. For what it cost for two nights ($600) we certainly did not receive the value that we have come to expect from Select Registry properties. We would have been happier if we had the same experience, but only paid half the amount. We... more

The Wickwood Inn is nicely decorated and conveniently located within walking distance of local attractions. The wine and cheese reception was great and the breakfast good as well. That said , it is pricey for the location. more
