The Captain's Quarters is a first-class stay where we got the friendliest welcome from the owner, who takes great pride in this immaculate motel. The property is super clean with homey amenities. You can't sit around a campfire at a Holiday Inn -- here you can! The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds and pillows. Captain's Quarters is within walking... More

Whenever my partner and I are in Saugatuck, me make a point to stay at the Captain's Quarters. The rooms are not fancy, but very clean and well cared for. The motel itself is tucked off the main road and has a great grassy outdoor space, with seating for guests to just hang out and relax. We may have played... More

Clean room and great location. Owners are very nice. Relaxing outdoor settings. A bit pricey but it was peak season when we stayed. The location is right in the middle of activities. The only thing we missed having was a free breakfast. All in all a nice stay!

The Captians Quarters offers an affordable relaxing option to enjoy Saugatuck and Douglas. It is quick walk into downtown Saugatuck for fabulous shopping, music, and excellent food. The innkeeper, Paul is a wonderful host and has updated the Quarters very nicely.

We didn't make reservations ahead of time and we're lucky there was a room available. The price was comparable with other motels. The owner was super! The room was very clean and updated - a little on the small side but we weren't planning to spend much time in the room. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very... More

Room was in excellent shape, owner very friendly and helpful, 15 minute walk to downtown. Only downside is wireless did not extend to our room and apparently many others. Would have rated 4 stars if wireless worked.

Two friends and I decided last minute to take a girls trip to Saugatuck. We loved our room at the Captains Quartes. Room was a great value. Clean and close to town. The room did not smell like mold at all.n there is no pool but we v did not need one. We will stay with the captain again.

Two friends and I decided to visit Saugatuck for a girls weekend and stayed at the Captain's Quarters. We loved our stay. Great room for the money. The room was clean and smelled great. Walk to town 10 minutes and easy. We will definitely stay with the captain again.

The host/owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a clean, basic motel room in a quiet courtyard away from the highway. It was very close to both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. The bed was firm, though
