Lovely place, however the owners have a strict "NO cancellation" policy . I had booked this resort for my 60th birthday girls weekend. Three days before check in my elderly father suffer a stroke and was in critical condition. I called to explain and cancel my reservation. I was told by Mr Kemp, one of the owners, that the room... Saugatuck is a lovely little town on the west side of Michigan and a two and a half hour drive from the Detroit area. We've stayed with Jan and Gary once before and enjoyed it both times. We had the upstairs suite which was very private and roomy. Very clean and charmingly furnished with lots of storage and a mini-fridge.... More

Needles to say, Saugatuck is a delightful village to visit, spend a few days, and relax. We found a lovely B&B in which to spend a few days called the Marywood Manor. Being on a side street right at the end of Main St. downtown, it had the perfect location for walking anywhere we wanted to wander. It's innkeepers were... More

Beautifully quaint four rooms bed and breakfast on a dead end street at the end of Saugatuck. Wonderful place with parking in the back, fountains to relax with, comfortable rooms with refrigerators and tv. Linens were soft and beds are great. Snacks anytime (pretzels and snack mix), water in the rooms, breakfast was amazing. Quiche and homemade scones for breakfast.... More

Beautiful gardens and great breakfasts on the screened- in porch. Gary was a wonderful... More

My wife and I spent a fabulous weekend in Saugatuck at the Marywood Manor B&B. Marywood's location is in the heart of all the action. Close to shopping, restaurants and the waterfront. Our suite was spacious, clean and had a private entrance. The food was great, the gardens surrounding the B&B are gorgeous and Gary and Jan are wonderful hosts... More

I have visited Saugatuck many times from Chicago and this B & B is hands down the best! From the second I checked in I felt like I had my own personal tour guide. It was incredibly helpful to get some insider information and also know that if we needed anything they were available. The breakfast is AMAZING!! Do not... More

Perfect for four sisters to have a reunion. We shared two suites, which was plenty of room. Unlike many other inns and B&Bs in Saugatuck, the suites at Marywood Manor Bed & Breakfast contain two real beds: a large one in the bedroom and a single, day bed in the living room. Thus two of us were able to share... More

Spent a great weekend away with friends in Saugatuk at Marywood Manor b&b. Great location right in heart of town with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance and only a block from the quaint chain ferry. Beautiful garden, roomy accommodations with all amenities - our room had a lovely porch and swing. Really convenient that we could park behind... More

Marywood Manor B & B is a great location. We were within a couple of blocks from fantastic restaurants and shopping. Jan & Gary are perfect hosts, recommending the best restaurants and things to see. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious! Beautiful decor and clean rooms! No wonder we've been back 12 times!
