We just got back from spending 3 nights and 4 days bicycle touring around the Victoria area. We used the Oak Bay Guest House as our base. Really nice folks that run the house and our rooms were comfortable and clean. We liked being a bit out of the downtown area and especially enjoyed cycling past the many beautiful estates... More

If you enjoy century old homes - this is the one for you, but it was not "our cup of tea". Many stairs to negotiate outside and inside for the elderly. Egli (sp) was a gracious hostess - providing information regarding places to eat and offering tea or a cold drink during the evening. They provided muffins to go for... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Oak Bay Guest House as we were out in BC for a family funeral. The 'experience' was absolutely wonderful. We were concerned over some dietary needs for my wife and they were more than amazing with how they accommodated us. The entire time left us wishing we had more time to... More

I stayed here as an alternative to staying in a dorm room at UVIC. Not a hard choice is it really? Delightful property, with a great hostess and her staff. The breakfast's were a delight, with some excellent choices. Nice touch: They give you a takeaway muffin for the day. Appreciate that they offer to tidy up the room as... More

I was in Victoria for a week on business and am very glad that I stayed here instead of an impersonal hotel. The hostess and her staff couldn't do enough to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The ambience was great too. My room was absolutely charming but I also really enjoyed spending part of my evenings in the... More

We stayed two nights at this historical inn and thorough enjoyed the ambiance. It's located in a quiet treed neighbourhood a short walk to the waterfront. Breakfast was scrumptious and staff was most obliging and friendly. The lounge with tea/coffee readily available kept us comfortable during the evenings.

Last weekend was our second stay here. The Skater room with shower was our preference and it is next to the sunroom. The staff kept tea , cookies, and soft drinks stacked for our pleasure. The newly decorated chairs, couch, and huge tv were excellent. Flowers abounded in the gardens. Breakfast room with china and fresh flowers was so welcoming... More

Another excellent spring break. Oak Bay B&B is one of our favorite places to stay. Clean, quiet and close to all amenities. The muffins and coffee for the road every morning were very much appreciated.

We came up from Seattle for New Years for a family event, my sister got us booked at 'Oak Bay Guest House' which is just around the corner from her. They know the couple that run it and thought we'd enjoy the atmosphere. The Guest House is very cozy, English style Inn that looks and feels very' English cottage' authentic... More

We were met at the door of the Inn by the Innkeeper. A beautiful bright eyed Christmas spirit. She welcomed us and took us to our room and then decided she wanted us in a bigger private suite....The first room was fine and the second fabulous. All the rooms are named and decorated with Victorian elegance and each has its... More
