An incredible view of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse from rooms on the west side. Best location in the area. There are a few nicer hotels - not in downtown St. Joseph but within a ten minute drive (e.g., Hilton Garden Inn, The Inn at Harbor Shores) but they can't compete with the Boulevard's location - steps from the beach,... We were on our way to visit my son, who lives in Grand Rapids and stopped at the visitor center. We had a day to enjoy before we were expected, and it happened to be my birthday. We were looking for a restaurant on the lake to have a nice dinner and watch the sunset on lake Michigan. The Bistro... More

My son and I stayed at the Boulevard Inn for a 1 night get-away from the Chicago area. We usually only stay at Marriotts and Sheratons but I picked this hotel because of its location. The room and the hotel itself was very clean. The breakfast was pretty straightforward. Service was good. The hotel in in the downtown area, so... More

The Boulevard Inn was a pretty nice surprise at St Joe's downtown area. Rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. If you are lucky to stay in the front rooms you will have a beautiful view of the lake, specially in summer time! The hotel is close to a number of restaurants and local attractions. I stayed there for around 3... More

Stayed here while attending Ice Magic. Rooms are very clean, spacious, and quiet. Beautiful view of frozen lake from west side of hotel. Within walking distance of many small restaurants, shops, and beach. Have never written a hotel review before but we had such a great experience here, would recommend to anyone needing a hotel while in St. Joe.

This is a pretty nice boutique hotel in downtown St. Joseph. It's probably not quite like something you would find in New York, Chicago or LA, but it is a really nice surprise for a smaller town and the best hotel anywhere in the area. The hotel is situated close to Lake Michigan. You can see the lake from the... More

We really enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Boulevard. We were checked in quickly and even offered a sugar cookie upon checkin. The room was clean, could be updated, but the decor is probably only 10 years old. The room was spacious. The bathroom was small, but I prefer a larger room to a larger bathroom. The fridge... More

I grew up in the Benton Harbor/St Joe area and lived here when this hotel was built, but never set foot in till last month. For a private hotel (non chain) it was aged well and they have taken the upmost care in updating the rooms along the way. We enjoyed the suite rooms that gave us the extra room... More

We've stayed at this hotel many times (over 2 dozen nights over past two years). The rooms are clean and comfortable; beds comfortable, coffee maker (Keurig) in room). Refrigerator, microwave in room. Large, separate seating area is great if you have visitors or spend a lot of time in your room. Rooms are quiet and lake view rooms are great!... More

I was out here for work and it was probably one of the better options for the area. It's a nice location - no designated parking for the hotel which is fine in the winter but is difficult during the nice months. The entrance is annoying as there are double doors or a revolving door and with suitcases... Not good.... More
