We stayed three nights at this place and very much regretted it! The rooms smelled, the staff was horrible especially the owner which is an older heavy set lady with blonde hair. She was VERY RUDE. We spent 3 nights in St Ignace for the Classic Car show the weekend of June 27th to July 1st. We got great rates and great service. The GVCA members were very happy with the K Royale Hotel. The view from our room made me feel like I was in the Caribbean - What a view. And the Bridge view... more

This has got to be a joke. The place should br shut down. I cannot possibly tell you how bad things are at the K royale. I can only hope that you avoid it if at all possible. Huge spiders all over. Dank rooms. Horrible swimming area. Jagged rocks all over the so called "beach". The staff is aweful. Apparently... more

My family and I stayed at the K-Royale Motor Inn and had a great time. the place is clean and comfortable with fire pits and volleyball on the beach. We had a two-night stay at K Royale just before the 4th of July. The first night the hot-tub wasn't working, which was disappointing. Our room smelled of smoke which I blame on patrons who aren't courteous enough to smoke outside. The continental breakfast was a disappointment, but maybe they just ran out of food before 8 am. Stayed in St. Ignace at the K-Royal. Very bad choice. The rooms were bad, bad smell, very bad paint job, nasty carpets old and worn all the way down to the sheets and bedspread and all this for $80 a night.
