If you like dirty rooms and 20 year old lumpy mattresses this is your place. Rooms are in need of major renovations. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly based on the "hair" around the toilet and mildew on the walls. We cleaned the ac filter so it would actually worked. It looked like mud when we rinsed it in the... More

Yes the main highway was a bit noisy but got used to it and our 4 day stay was good. Stayed in the motel. Was a little dated but everything was clean and the owners were very friendly. Very reasonably priced. Would definatetly stay again. r

Look, this isn't a fancy place. It's not meant to be a fancy place. It's not trying to be a fancy place. What it is is cheap, clean, and comfortable. We came to Mackinac with my extended family, and, since my mother in law was treating four families to this trip, we were on a budget. But for $50 a... More

my husband and I stayed one night just to lay our heads down and start out early the next morning. We stayed in the small cabins. There is a motel building but the cabins looked cute. Well the bed sunk in the middle and very uncomfortable and the noise from the highway was very noisy. The bed was clean but... More

We originally booked 2 cabins. My daughter and son in law loved their cabin (#3) and called it cozy. It was a little too rustic for my liking. The bathrooms are VERY tiny and old and cabins are heated with space heaters. The owners were very understanding though when I requested to move to their Inn that is on the... More

Stayed two nights in the Inn. One morning did not have hot water, but could hear someone else's shower running, so maybe it's all about timing. It was not glamorous, but we had a good nights sleep. It made going to Mackinaw in the summer on a weekend doable without breaking the bank.

Our family stayed in four cabins here to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The cabins are OK, nothing luxurious, but clean. Our cabin had 2 double beds, a wall unit air conditioner, a small bathroom (we called it a Hobbit bathroom, Hobbit sized shower, Hobbit sized towels, Hobbit sized mirror!) however we did appreciate having an indoor toilet and... If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in St. Ignace, this place is great. While it is not the Ritz it was a very cozy cabin that really gave us the "Up North" feel. We stayed there for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend and the price was the best deal we could find in the area.... More

As with most weekends in the straights area, most places were booked or way overpriced for the value of stay. Pointe La Barbe Inn had cancellation to my luck and I got snag it up for an amazing rate. The cabin looked quite small from the outside, however once inside it was amazing. The inside was perfect with the old... More
