We originally booked 2 cabins. My daughter and son in law loved their cabin (#3) and called it cozy. It was a little too rustic for my liking. Stayed two nights in the Inn. One morning did not have hot water, but could hear someone else's shower running, so maybe it's all about timing. It was not glamorous, but we had a good nights sleep. It made going to Mackinaw in the summer on a weekend doable without breaking the bank.

As with most weekends in the straights area, most places were booked or way overpriced for the value of stay. Pointe La Barbe Inn had cancellation to my luck and I got snag it up for an amazing rate. The cabin looked quite small from the outside, however once inside it was amazing. The inside was perfect with the old... More
