We stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights during a recent vacation to the Mackinaw area. We booked a non-smoking room with two queen beds, and a sleeper sofa and beach front. The room was located at the end of the hallway, and was a nice size, larger than your average room. On the upside, the hotel looked nice.... more

We stayed at two hotels in the area, this one and the Hamilton Inn Select in Mackinaw City. After the Hamilton Inn, this was a let down. On the plus side, the price was good and the room was clean. Another plus was the soothing sound of waves lapping onto the quiet beach outside. The downside to this property started... more

Very attractive from the road. Our room was a little outdated (mauve and gray decor). The room was very clean, but needed a few minor repairs (torn wallpaper, loose tiles on back-splash surrounding Jacuzzi, outside door handle for patio door was broken off). The beach was not the gorgeous sandy beach I imagined, but I hadn't come for that so... more

had a great time in St. Ignace. Our room was a hot tub room with a cozy heart shapped tub, very cute. Room was very clean, and cleaned everyday, even if we left after 11a (check out time). Enjoyed the view and balconey. The beach was a little dirty, but still nice. Had great service, only once was someone rude... more

Beach was unclean. Duck poop all around. Have to walk up hill to office for breakfast. Breakfast was hard micro muffins. Desk people not friendly. Better places to stay in area. more

Given that St. Ignace is a resort area, this hotel was nice for the price but the experience was only average. The staff was very nice and responded to all requests to the extent they could. Our room was supposed to be non smoking but there were ash trays in the room. The breakfast area was very crowded for the... more

Our family goes to the St. Ignace Comfort Inn every year. It is always very clean and the rooms are comfortable, (the corner rooms are more spacious). The staff has always been nice and kind and will help you with whatever you need. I enjoy our time here and so does my family. more

My husband and I were married in June of this year and waited til September to take our Honeymoon..We decided to go to the U.P because he had never experienced that beautiful country. So This hotel was our first night stay..The hot tub and beachfront property was the deciding factor. We had no idea when we got there that we... more
