This is not a Hilton resort, by any means. It is more like a Days Inn. However, the price is right and for the cost, it is a great deal. We were looking for a clean comfortable place with an indoor pool and this fit the bill. I would stay here again.

We spent a weekend on Mackinac Island and broke up the trip by booking a night here. I paid under $50/night via hotels.com. I wouldn't go comparing this to the Silversmith in Chicago, but for what we paid, I've stayed in much better hotels and much, MUCH worse (and paid more $$, too). For $50, you can't go wrong with... This is a large hotel right on the beach. The rooms were clean and the view was great. It got a little noisy at night from other guests. The eggs and sausages were cold at the breakfast. If you are looking for a place to stay for the night, you could do a lot worse.

Wasn't sure what we were going to get for $65/night...we got a BEAUTIFUL room with fireplace, flat screen tv, and a gorgeous view! We got wonderful, polite, helpful staff...it was so refreshing compared to other places we've stayed. Every staff worker acknowledged us with either a smile, a hello or both. I even had a housekeeper offer to help me... More

We chose Breakers because of its location for our touring. We enjoyed our view of the lake and Mackinac Island. The sunrise was beautiful. The staff was very helpful in giving directions. Our room was clean and roomy. We had a pleasant surprise when we walked in and found a heart shaped jet tub. This was a great location and... More

My sister and I weren't expecting much from this hotel. We booked it just for one night because we were looking for a cheap hotel to stay in while touring the Upper Peninsula. When we arrive we were blown away. For $58/night it was an excellent find. The room was comfortable and very clean. The shower was great and so... More

My family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights and felt it was a very good stay for the price. We had a 1st floor with a slider looking out over Lake Huron with Mackinaw Island in view..very nice. The beach is for the view as most are aware of the seagulls and cold water temps but so nice to... More

4 days, Room 327. A/C stopped working each day! This room A/C needs to be the next one to update. Not able to fix, had to open window. :( No other king room available). No tissue. They forgot to put more coffee packs when cleaning. Terrycloth wrist sweatband laying behind TV when we got there and still there all thru... More

I just stayed at the Breakers and this is a great Hotel. Clean, decent, and very affordable. The island views are amazing and the location to the boat docks are very convenient. I definitely recommend this place!!

The room was very clean and comfortable for four people. We had a ground floor room, with a walk-out on the bay, which was a beautiful view! The staff was always very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be that there needs to be more seating for breakfast. We stayed three nights, and every morning for breakfast, there was... More
