Not only should they renovate the rooms, they should renovate and train the staff on PROPER customer service etiquette. It doesn't help to offer to switch a room if the room you are put in has not tissue, no soap, a broken phone, horrible bed linen, did I mention the thermostat looked like the old ones from the 80's and... The Met is an older hotel but was clean and neat. The King executive room was large and clean but the finishes were older. The included breakfast only had tea and coffee, and items like toast and muffins. The breakfast was disappointing! More

We stayed here 1 night in July as a park and fly to Florida the night before we left on a trip. We had originally booked the Days Inn and when we walked into a few of the rooms we were offered we were disappointed, cancelled because it seemed so substandard. Every room smelt of cigarette smoke and was tiny... More

This was the absolute worst hotel that i have ever stayed in my entire life. I visited Detroit for a funeral and had to make last minute reservations for my parents (one who has cancer) and myself. They assured me that they had handicapped rooms available. We checked in late at night and the hotel was beautiful. The front elevator... More

This hotel was probably once a nice property but is now run-down and offers little for the money. It is not a place I can recommend. The beds were comfortable altho only doubles (so hard to sleep 3 comfortably). The breakfast buffet was disappointingly small (and warranted a trip to a near-by restaurant). The walls were thin and made for... More

Without even getting into the mediocre (at best) service and room, let's first talk about how we were scammed. When we checked in, we inquired about shuttle service to the airport and if they had a parking option for our car. We were told that for fifty dollars, after leaving our keys and filling out some paperwork, 'they' would drive... More
