I came to michigan last minute so when I saw that the MOTEL was "pet friendly" I called to find out prices. Perfect I thought $45/nite $10/pet fee, they said itd be about $185-$195 for a week with the pet fee. Until I actually went and tried to pay for a week. First they said it wasnt $185 anymore it... Terrible experience the place is a dump. There were prostitutes in the parking lot offering their services within 30 seconds of arriving. Burn holes and poop stains on the sheets. A legitimate hole in the roof that you could see the sky out of. Dog feces in the actual room! Dont stay here!

I got stuck in Detroit making a connection, due to storms. I got on my laptop, and looked for a room. Everyone else was stuck there, too, so my choices were limited. I found a room at the Rodeway Inn, and being a Choice Hotels brand, I figured it would be okay, even thought the price was really low. What... More

If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay with a Park & Fly option, this is a pretty good deal. We paid $80 for a one night stay and eight days of parking. And the airport parking lot is right across the street with 24 hour service to and from the airport. It's obviously not the Ritz Carlton... More

As soon as we walked into the room ( $55. a night ) I knew we had made a mistake. It stank something bad, that old musky smell. Ceilings are stained from the roof water leaks. The wallpaper is curling up at the seams. There are large chunks of wallpaper missing here & there. This room is so old &... More

Economic and cheap. Very close to the airport and okay for a night. Pick and drop to the airport is available. The staff at the reception are friendly.Safety could be a concern. Breakfast is hardly anything.

It is a pretty cheap place to stay for solo travelers, but don't expect it to be exceptionally worthy. The room I stayed had an awfully dirty bathtub, but other things are totally fine and clean. The location is great - very close to both the airport and some nice restaurants nearby. It takes less than 30 minutes to get... More

"Adequate" is the word I would use. I booked it because of the location and because it was cheap. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean. The property is a bit tired. Breakfast was minimal but OK in quality. Don't expect the Ritz, but expect to get what you pay for.

I don't know of many hotels that don't offer in-room hair dryers, irons, and ironing boards these days. This hotel does not. At $45/night for a single room, it does represent good value, however. Keep in mind that in addition to no hair dryers, there is no breakfast (not even continental), no alarm clocks, no irons or ironing boards. "Back... More
