We had a great stay at this hotel. We were there with a bunch of family and they were very accommodating. We are making plans to go back this summer. Heidi was very nice! The pool area had showers and changing rooms which we found very convenient.

We recently stayed at this Motel for a Rogers City family reunion. We loved the fact that every room has a balcony overlooking the lake. We were on the first level and the view was perfect and enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise! - only a few steps from the Motel you can walk or bike ride a 10 mile path along... More

My wife and I stayed here for these past three nights as out of town guests from Cleveland. It's been years since we stayed here after hearing and reading about this Motels decline in quality. Without a lot of options in Rogers, we stayed in room 219 and were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is dated. We used to stay here... More

pros: nice view, free wifi, lots of good tv channels, nice people, pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. cons: threadbare sheets, wallpaper peeling off the wall all over the room, mold on the bathroom ceiling and walls Did not see a lot of options in this town for lodging.

We stayed here over the weekend. It is a great location for hiking, walking, shopping, eating, drinking, biking and of course the LAKE ; need I say more. The hotel has somewhat aged, but the room was clean. Service from Trish was wonderful, hospitable, courteous and very pleasant. We enjoyed our view from upstairs room # 216, I will attach... More

Great location. View of the lake and a short walk to the shore. Park right outside your room. Nice staff; friendly. A step above the typical non chain owner operated motel. We paid $75 in late October. Free breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Clean but just tired. We would stay there again.

Very mixed feelings here. I wish I could give a 2.5 rating, but I bumped it up to a 3 because my experience may have been a fluke. The location is wonderful. I woke up with a beautiful sunrise on the lake and it's right near downtown. The breakfast was really not bad and the coffee was good, and I... More

We ended up at the Driftwood after our car unfortunately decided to break down on a Friday afternoon and ended up being somewhat stranded in a city we knew nothing about until it was fixed. The Driftwood was actually the third motel we tried to get a room in - the other two along US 23 either didn't have a... More

A very nice, quaint and friendly, small town motel. Don't expect a lot, but you'll probably get what you paid for: This isn't the Grand Hotel in Manhattan. But the staff are exceptionally friendly (as are most people in Rogers City). The breakfast room is small and although it's not gourmet, most people should be able to make due with... More
