This was by far the WORST KOA experience we have ever had! We have stayed at several all over the US, and the campground at Coloma does NOT deserve the awesome KOA name. We had a long drive, and got started late, so we called to let them know we would be getting in late, when we called we were... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please accept our apologies that your recent stay with us was not up to your expectations. We do provide night registration for campers who arrive after our office is closed and do put a limited number of maps outside as well. It is possible that another camper grabbed too... More

We had a great time here last summer so when we needed a place to stop coming back from Mackinac the choice was easy. We came in on a friday night and would have stayed 2 nights but they were fully booked on Saturday. As we started to set up the camper our 7 year old disappeared to the bounce... More

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed staying with us during your recent vacation. Our jumping pillow, as your 7 year old quickly found out, is one of our most popular amenities! Glad to hear you really enjoyed the peace and quiet we offer for all of our campers and hope you'll find time to return and see... More

My mom and sister and myself go camping in Michigan every summer- and we chose st. joe as our destination this time. We usually go to traverse city, or mackinaw city or even the UP. The area is nice, although way more crowded than up north. Silver beach is beautiful, but crowded. This is more of a party place- than... More

We absolutely loved our stay at this KOA. It was our home base for our beach vacation to the MI Dunes. Only 10 mins to Silver Beach and 25 mins to Warren Dunes. So much to do at the campground for the kids. Spacious shaded sites and clean hot showers. And Ginter and Ursula could not have been more helpful.... More

It was a nice campground but had some issues. First thing was there was only 4 stalls to use for bathroom but showers were attached so u had to wait sometimes up to 30 mins to just use bathroom. Another issue was u can only have one tent per site. We also felt that the owners/workers were watching us, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We do have several restroom and shower facilities in the campground so all of our guests are able to use them whenever they have a need. It is our policy to only allow one tent per site but this is mostly due to space limitations and to avoid the... More

Rude front desk people, dirty and cramped and too few restrooms, Run Down. Not at all at the level of other KOAs. Upon check-in, lady wads rude on answering even the most simple questions. There was highway noise. Was a smokey dismal place with smoke hanging in campground. Restrooms were a joke, there were only 2 showers at the bathhouse... More

Between the playground on the sand dune, the nature trails, the bouncing pillow, the tennis court, the fun "trikes", the pool, the fishing pond...I'm not sure where they spent the most time...they don't want to leave the campground to go to the other great spots in the area! I love the natural setting, with the mature trees...so many of the... More

Thanks so much for staying with us Ruth, we are so glad you had a wonderful time. Our humble campground has been here for quite awhile now (one of the first KOA's in the system) and so our trees frequently get complimented. Hope you'll come back to see us soon! More

This was a very nice place. People were friendly. Good location for shopping and movie theaters, etc. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the first campsite they gave me the electric tower was at one end and the water at the other. Either my hose or my power cable woudn't have reached. The power tower... More
