We were recommended to Raymond House Inn by a relative. The room was large. The bed was not comfortable in the least. TV was an old one and didn't have very good picture. The bathroom was a hodgepodge and strangely arranged. I realize it is a very old house. Perhaps if I had gotten a better nights sleep I would... More

Raymond House is a beautiful old home in a small town. Christi is a gracious hostess. The breakfasts are delicious and the beds are comfy. There is a nice parlor and a deck, both have plenty of seating to play a game or just sit and talk with other guests. Complimentary sherry was a nice added perk, especially as the... More

My husband and I were taking a trip around Michigan for our 28th anniversary and wanted to stay and B&B's. A beautiful house with great old time decor. Christi was such an amazing host. She makes beautiful jewellery which we had in common and spent quite a bit of time discussing. Breakfast was good, we were the only ones staying... More

This is a modest B&B built in the 1880's. Quite remarkable to stay at such a grand home that's been around so long. We arrived 8:30 p.m. - about 5 hours beyond when we'd planned, so we really didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful setting and at least go down to the water's edge. We were so tired,... This B&B has been around under multiple owners for the best part of four decades. It's a good solid place at a reasonable price. The night we were there the building was in the midst of a bat eradication program over which the owner's mother obsessed. Clearly...TMI. We arrived by boat with the distance between the harbor and the Raymond... More

We stayed two nights at this amazing place. The room that we are in is absolutely cozy and beautiful. The rooms are done so great. You feel so at home here. They have left no detail undone. I would recommend this place to anyone! The breakfast was spectacular! I could not ask for a better place to stay and we... More

We had a wonderful time staying with Cristy and Jack. We were only there 1 night on a Memorial Day weekend, but enjoyed every part of it. They are both wonderful hosts and were very accommodating to our cycling group. The rooms are very nice. Jack has a huge collection of lighthouse models and they run a quaint gift shop... More

The location in Port Sanilac is wonderful, also the fact it is a short walk to the harbor. The Inn itself is rather tired, needs updating and TLC. Did not care for bathrooms sinks being outside bathroom, in the room.

The Raymond House is a Victorian B & B in Port Sanilac, just a short walk from Lake Huron. The sitting parlor is gorgeous, with historical pictures of the Raymond family on display. When you are there, you truly feel you've stepped back in time. Thoughtful touches such as a decanter of sherry set out nightly in the front room... More

The location is just a couple of blocks to the Port Sanilac Lighthouse...which is quite unique in design. The lighthouse overlooks Lake Huron in Michigan's thumb. I was there to photograph this Lighthouse. The food was wonderful, they also had an afternoon tea, each bedroom had it's own Victorian atmosphere. The owners were great. I'm looking to going back in... More
