When our family wanted to travel to Port Huron, Michigan to visit relatives, I began a search for our accommodation. We knew our two children were going to stay at Grandpa's house, but my wife and I needed a place for us.

I checked out all of the reviews of the hotels that are offered in Port Huron and it quickly became obvious that none of them would work. The Thomas Edison on the waterfront was tempting because of it's location but it's reviews were terrible. The other hotels were all 'chain' oriented and located inland on the commercial roadways.

I googled 'Port Huron Bed and Breakfast' and discovered the Hill Estates B & B. It's located on Lakeview Avenue and is probably no more than 5 or 6 blocks north of the Blue Water Bridge.
