Reservation process was very pleasant and friendly. Everything was just as expected upon our arrival. Rooms were immaculately clean, furnishings in excellent condition. We ate in the restaurant and found not only a good variety from which to select, but the food was excellent as well. The people were not only couteous but made you feel welcome and at home.... more

We did not stay overnight at the Garfield Inn. We had considered it, but their prices are much too high for this area, and for what you get. It is a beautiful home, with a wonderful outdoor garden area, and the people working there are friendly. However, the prices absolutely do not match their online rates, at all. And that... more

We stopped at the Garfield Inn to consider staying overnight Oct 24th which I would consider off season. We stood in the bar area 5 minutes before someone showed up to greet us. The rooms are nice enough but only 2 have true private baths, one room you have to walk through the hallway to access your private bath. The... more

Web site prices do not reflect actual prices. I left three messages on their phone (Tues, Wed and Fri afternoon). They finally called back and told me that their room rates were $175/$165/$135. Quite a jump from $89/$99/$120!! We ended up staying somewhere else =\ more

Omelettes made from a wide choice of ingredients;made in front of you to your liking. Pleasant surroundings. Friendly chef and staff. Decent price. Children's prices for the same buffet. more
