Spent three nights in this run down hotel with a spectacular view and apathetic is not arrogant staff. Great place for kids to run on the village green; wonderful sunsets; easy access to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Crooked Tree golf is right across the street. The front desk could care less; the lobby is sterile; the place needs a good... More

I want to give this hotel a great review, but under it's current condition I can't. The location is great, the view of the lake is beautiful, but the hotel is very rundown. The exterior of the hotel is dirty and the paint is peeling everywhere. I agree with previous reviews that the lobby seems sparse and the rooms are... More

This hotel has really gone downhill in the last year. The lobby was so sparsely decorated that I thought they might be closing down. Where did all the lovely art go? The staff seems cold and unfriendly. The drinks at the South American are getting smaller and weaker with each visit. The service is incredibly slow. The menu was SO... More

We stay here a lot. The reservation dept. associated with boyne resorts are very rude and unoccomodating leaving you with the feeling that you are intruding on their day. I found this to be true every time I book through them in the past year. The front desk personnel is great, very pleasant. I'm talking about the reservation dept you... More

We always come in March and love the slower pace of the winter crowd. Hotel is magical and always a welcome trip away! Love the restaurant and pub, but also love what the surrounding cities have to offer.

We stayed here during the Boyne City Mushroom festival weekend. We sure like this hotel. The Little Traverse Wheelway bike trail is awesome out of here. Great property and great people. Summer is a little costly here but have enjoyed a few great June-July nights also. Food is fair priced and good. We are a different couple here as we... More

Room not ready when we arrived, with an unprepared intern at the desk to manage the situation. Once I got to a manager, Olivia provided coverage for a meal for us, that was nice, but service was terrible all weekend long at the restaurants which really spoiled the stay.

Wonderful hotel with a great staff. Worth every penny. Lettie at front desk is excellent and will do all she can to insure a guest is happy. Concierge (forgot name) worked so hard to get me the dinner res at opening night at Seventeen restaurant and tracked me down to make sure I knew it was set. Suzanne in housekeeping... More

This hotel was probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in! The hotel employees were the friendliest group that I have ever seen. Every time you would enter the front door or get off of the elevator, they would greet you in such a friendly way. We stayed with another couple on the fifth floor in the Presidential Suite.... More

We arrived on Monday, June 23, 2014 and were greeted by great hotel employees. We have never stayed there and were looking forward to having a wonderful experience. The room we first entered had a Murphy bed, something we were not anticipating for $300.00. When I spoke to the hotel clerk she upgraded us to a beautiful king room with... More
