We got hit with a heavy rain while staying at Petoskey State Park so went searching for a place to dry out. We were fortunate to find room at the inn. It's a lovely historical hotel close to all the restaurants and shops. The room was small but comfortable and we were able to get warm and had a great... More

Best location in town and the main reason we booked this hotel. Shopping and restaurants are 5 minutes away. Our room was a bit underwhelming and looked at the roof top air conditioning units. While we were given the room we booked, there didn’t seem to be many people in the hotel so a room with a better view would... More

If you prefer to stay somewhere that is unique and full of character and history relating to the area where you are staying (and you should), you will really enjoy this hotel. We had a business meeting here, so we met here, ate here, played here and of course, stayed here. Excellent! In walking distance of the charming downtown Petoskey,... More

I stayed here on business while in Petoskey. I love the history of this hotel and the charm that goes along with it. During my stay, there were some repairs going on, so I received a $50 gift card for my troubles. The rooms are very cool. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast view was... More

Our daughter got married at the Perry a week ago. It was absolutely spectacular. The staff could not have been more helpful or competent. Lauren, the wedding planner, was on top of everything. The food was excellent. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. If you need a wedding venue, this is a place to look in to.

We spent only one night here and wish we had stayed longer. Stafford's Perry hotel is the only hotel right in downtown Petoskey which is a gorgeous and charming town. The hotel is lovely & genteel. Our room had a partial view of the water. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. We had a wonderful breakfast... More

I stayed at the Stafford's Perry Hotel for a wedding. The hotel is lovely and historic. My room was nice, but apparently there was an issue with the HVAC and a part had to be replaced. It was warm this weekend, and the heat was on full blast and I could do nothing to turn it off. Could not control... More

Dear Lynn G Thank you for staying at our hotel and for sharing on Trip Advisor. We did experience a failed cold water circulation pump that affected approximately 1/3 of the hotel this past weekend. Some rooms worse than others depending on which side of the building and we did handle this issue on a case by case basis. Generally... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night just for a short break. The receptionist when I arrived on the saturday was really helpful and pleasant which is always important. My room was a pleasant surprise, gorgeous bed, nice furniture and large bathroom. The hotel has an old world, historic feel to it and full of antique furniture. The hallways have... More

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before, but decided to spend a little extra to get the balcony room this time. Well worth it!!! I am giving it 5 stars cause of this room. I think the other rooms are only worth 4 stars. We had the Arlington queen room, with a large balcony with view of... More
