Stayed at this hotel for one night just for a short break. The receptionist when I arrived on the saturday was really helpful and pleasant which is always important. My room was a pleasant surprise, gorgeous bed, nice furniture and large bathroom. The hotel has an old world, historic feel to it and full of antique furniture. The hallways have... More

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before, but decided to spend a little extra to get the balcony room this time. Well worth it!!! I am giving it 5 stars cause of this room. I think the other rooms are only worth 4 stars. We had the Arlington queen room, with a large balcony with view of... More

Went on a whim to stafford Perry hotel over the weekend with the boyfriend. We got the room on the 3rd floor I believe with the balcony. It was a wonderful view looking out toward lake michigan and the room was see decent. Price again was probably to high but then again its all about the view and be located... More

We enjoyed our Labor Day weekend at the Perry Hotel. First of all you have the historic building themselves. Long meandering hallways with the unexpected around every turn. Elegance everywhere, from the classic formal dining room to the long summer porch with the wicker furniture. A very friendly and helpful staff. The locations is great too. Easy walks to the... More

Petoskey is not all that charming, as compare to TC, for instance, but I expected more from the Perry Hotel. The hotel is ridden by wedding parties and that takes a toll in the atmosphere and upkeep of the rooms and facilities. The first room given to us smelled like a bad eating experience, but the staff was accommodating and... More

We stayed two nights in Perry Hotel in June - we had a great rate due to a Spring shopping special I found online. We were in an Arlington Queen room, which had a wonderful private balcony with a view of the lake. The room was beautiful and clean - very comfy. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The room... More

This place was even better than I expected. The room was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. It was great because it was right in town close to everything including the bike path that we rode our bikes on. The restaurant had great food. The Noggin room had a great happy hour and friendly staff. I plan to stay there again... More

Way overpriced for the experience. Old hotel paper thin walls. Awoke at 5:30am to smokers cough in next room. Felt like we shared the room. Heard all the conversations including many colorful expletives. Was only more disappointed when no hot water came on in the shower. Next time newer hotel.

Dear Daniel H., We sincerely apologize for the experience you endured while staying at our hotel. As I mentioned to you at check out, we have refunded all charges, and of course we did not anticipate the mechanical failure that caused a temporary loss of hot water for some of the guestrooms. We wish you every comfort in your future... More

We stayed one night at the Perry Hotel and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. When we made the reservation, we were told that our room, the least expensive, would be small and we were prepared for the worst but loved what we found. Yes, the room was small but it was so nice that we found it very comfortable (the bathroom was... More

I really cannot say enough good stuff about this property. It started, pretty much, in the parking lot. I was pulling my bag out of the trunk, and a young man from the hotel walked up and offered to carry my bag. Then, as we approached the front doors, two other guys held the door open for me. What a... More
