Hill and Hollow is our new favorite campground! We came to the campground with a large group on six sites. The staff was friendly and very accommodating with anything we needed. The bathrooms are the cleanest public bathrooms I've seen in a long time. They are cleaned several times a day. The showers are hot and spotless. The pool area... More

Family friendly! Super clean bathrooms. Kids 9-14 all enjoying themselves with a lot to do. Nice wooded sites, nature trails, close to beach. I would definitely recommend this campground.AJ's fun park kept this kids entertained maybe a little too much!! Friendly staff. Nice campstore.

Very clean up to date facility. At 11pm it is very quiet and enjoyable to sleep. We didn't have any problems and as long as you don't go out of your way to get in trouble they leave you alone. This was mine and my boyfriends first camping trip ever and it was by far the best vacation we had... More

Above reviews are correct. They want it quiet. Had visitors with dogs who barked when approached by strangers. It was only late afternoon. People were nosy as well as other dogs. Asked to leave if they were going to bark. No concrete slabs. Playground a poor excuse. Showers bad. Pool wasn't warm. Water contaminated and no discount for problem. Right... More

We are a private campground and RV park open to the public. We do no advertise concrete slabs - we have compacted gravel on campsites. Our modern immaculate showers and restrooms are cleaned several times daily and are very much appreciated by our guests. We had one instance early in the season when our state licensed water quality lab tested... More

DO NOT camp at this camp ground if you wish to stay awake past 10:30pm. The owners were very rude judgmental towards my group consisting of 4 tent camp sites. This campsite is extremely overpriced for its poor service. I will never stay at this campground again.

If you have a pulse, you're not going to be very happy with hill and hollow. The bottom line is that the staff wants to have their cake and eat it too...they enforce the ridiculously strict rules they choose to, and turn a blind eye to the rules broken by the "camping elite." And by elite I mean conservative, boring... More

I went to this campground with a group made up of four couples. We were instantly judged negatively because we are a group in our 20s with no children. We were told right away that we would be kicked out if we were trouble. Rules for the campground are strictly enforced when it suits the staff members and complainers. Rule... More

I enjoy all the things they have to do here. For example Christmas in July and halloween, they put time and hard work into makeing sure it's kid friendly and enjoyable. The staff go out of there way to insure the needs of all the campers are meet. I would highly recommend this campground if you want to make memorable... More

This is the cleanest campground we have ever seen! We camp all over Michigan and these facilities are above and beyond anything we've seen in other parks. My family and I stayed for 4 days and will definitely be back again. Crystal clear warm swimming pools and tons of things for the kids to do. Volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, basketball, playgrounds... More
