Chose this place on a whim. It was clean. The people were friendly and inviting. We ate at the "pub/steakhouse" on the lake. Go early for a beautiful view of the lake and MAKE A RESERVATION. Breakfast at the lodge was decent. What you'd expect from a hotel. Great place to stay for a "self-guided" color tour. Stay off the... More

We were on our way to Mackinac Island it was a great place to stop for the night. Breakfast could of used some fresh fruit or yogurt. But the area around was wooded and very beautiful. It was quiet even though it was across from the airport.

The only reason I do not give an "Excellent" review is that the room I stayed in was a Jacuzzi room and that there was no mini-fridge in the room. Maybe that sounds picky, but I would have figured for the type of room, that would have been an amenity. The reason I point that out is that the hotel... More

Directly across from the airport and located in the woods, the staff were super friendly and the rooms were big and clean. They provided a free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast starts at 5:00am which is convenient for early morning flights.

Pellston Lodge fulfills its role very well. It is the perfect lodging for the last night before a flight out of Pellston (which currently leaves at 0635 hours). Close to provisions at the Pellston General Store; close to restaurants on Highway 31; and very close to the airport. The lobby has been redone; our room was clean and we appreciated... More

You cannot beat the across-from-the-airport location of this hotel. The lobby was cozy & the front desk staff friendly. A family seemed to be enjoying the indoor pool. Our room (128) however, was a little sad; "old-room" odor, dated décor, stained carpet & worn sofa. The coffee table surface was not clean and dust & debris were visible along the... More

The Pellston Lodge looks to have been recently redecorated with interesting rustic chairs and tables in the lobby and new carpeting. Our room was also redecorated with new carpeting, wallpaper, and paint. The beds were comfortable, neat, and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good, but adequate for me. The staff person on duty was prompt and helpful. I would recommend this... More

Pellston is a remote regional airport which is located about 30 miles north of Boyne Falls which was our final destination. We arrived in Pellston late so decided to spend the night at their local motel/hotel/lodge. Unfortunately, they had an electrical storm that night before we arrived and knocked out their TV and internet. I was assured the wi-fi was... More
