After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned. However, the room was clean, as was the bathroom. No extra amenities like a frig, or microwave , but we survived. Breakfast was pre packaged rolls. Summer rates are high, that is just the way it is here in the U.P.

This hotel is fine for 1 or 2 nights, though the reviews of this establishment were a bit exaggerated. The hotel does lack many of the ammenities that most hotels provide, such as an ironing board, hair dryer, fridge, etc. the interior decor is pretty dated. The walls are thin, meaning everything someone else dies or anytime they walk in... More

We appreciated the wifi and the tv channels, which you dont always get in that area. Mostly the staff (Beth?) couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Shes a keeper. The plastic mattress pad cover made me too warm but not too uncomfortable. Will go back.

Looking for somewhere late one evening for a visit to the falls the next day. Fast check-in with friendly staff, no breakfast incl except donuts n coffee. Room clean and spacious. No elevator or fridge in room. Old noisy A/C but it was quiet and cool outside so an open window worked instead. Price a bit high.

Decided to head up to Paradise on a Saturday afternoon and got 1 of the last rooms. Motel was clean and OK but walls apparently are thin cause I heard everything people in the next room said. But it was right in the middle of town so it was OK.

This was a nice stay. I thought it was comparable to every other facility we had stayed, but this site was priced high compared same type sites in the U. P. The room was nice, clean and satisfactory. continental breakfast, which was fine. I was happy with site other than the higher cost, but there isn't too many accommodations in... More

Clean and Basic - advantage: It was open. No coffee maker, fridge or blow dryer. Basic room. Late in season so few choices. OK for one night to sleep. 11 miles from Whitefish Pointe Lighthose Complex and on the way to Tahquamenon Falls.

no fridge or microwave in a room. we had to go to the lobby to get something warmed up because the only restaurant that was open at 8 pm had two hours waiting time. beds were ok, clean and shower was clean. the donuts in plastic were ok if they were not chocolate because frosting would stay on wrapping. you... This place charges too much for what you get, $100/nite, said continental breakfast which was "packaged rolls", high fat, coffee was not ready at 6:00 am as advertised. Clerk checking in was sloppy, unfriendly. No frig in room or microwave.

Way over priced. Staff very snotty, dressed poorly and didn't really care if they sold the room or not. The continental breakfast consists of donuts that were wrapped and when you pulled the wrapper off the frosting came off with it, the coffee was horrible, nothing more for breakfast. The tv was 19 inch. The bathtub felt like it was... More
