My husband and I with our 2 dogs stayed here for three nights in February to snowshoe around Tahquamenon Falls. The owner Duanne was very accommodating and concerned that we had a nice stay and everything we needed. The room was very clean and roomy enough for us. The kitchenette was well equipped and had everything we needed. One bed... More

We stayed here on a September trip to the UP. Found it to be very comfortable and reasonably priced. Place was clean and well maintained and couldn't be much closer to the water if it tried. Great location for checking out Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Faills

My husband and I loved this place! Friendly and helpful owners. We loved that it was cozy and clean. This is just the kind of place we wanted for an up north adventure. If you expect the Mariott (Which is really dumb if your in the North Woods) then this place is not for you. The comments about this place... More

We were very happy with our stay here in mid-September 2014. My husband & I love the little mom & pop motels over the "name brand" places and were quite taken with this little place right on the water. The room was large with 2 very comfortable beds, sofa, coffee maker. And the bathroom, while small, was spotless - which... More

We went to this place which advertised as a motel but in fact there were 4 cabins right on the road which were very spartan. We certainly expected more, but it was a very simple and plain place. There is picture of the motel which is featured online does not remotely resemble the motel or any of the buildings. This... More

This place was great. Found it on trip advisor while searching for places around Tahquamenon Falls, and it had positive reviews, so decided to check it out. We were very pleasantly surprised. When we pulled up we had a beautiful romantic view of the lake, the room was nice and clean, and the husband and wife who run the place... More

Overall, I would consider staying here again as it met my criteria well enough and was a good value for the money. My number one criteria for giving a good rating is that a place be clean, and this place was very clean and neat. Next thing is whether I slept well--the bed was comfortable initially but I woke up... More

What a nice place, super clean rooms with a kitchenette that is so well stocked I was totally impressed. Truly everything you need from a colander, wine opener to a cut glass bowl, real silverware and no paper plates or plastic cups. Plus the all important coffee pot. The view is great, literally right on the lake. I would not... More

My husband and I wanted to spend a few days in the area and wanted to bring our dog. Finding places that accept dogs is challenging, finding places that accept dogs and get favorable reviews online is VERY difficult. I found Freighters View on the Bay and the review were good so we gave them a try and we were... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Falls. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy so the view wasn't as awesome as it could have been, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. The room was very clean, there is a grill available should you want to cook, DirecTV and WiFi are available,... More
